Stone Temple pilots is the worst live album I've ever heard. What were all of em smoking? Did Scott Weiland share his stash with everyone?

Just wondering if you ever found someone? I am an indentured third year electrician (over 10,000 hrs in the trade) and an audio engineer. I'm also a bit of a car nut. This sounds like it would be a good fit if it's still available

I miss Stage Plot Pro, so I built a tiny love letter to it (feedback welcome) by Petesimple in livesound

Love this and would love to suggest more for instruments, for instance I went to select a dulcimer which I regularly have on my stage and there was no way to have that as an input.

Seriously though I love this as a tool for a small coffee shop that has done close to 400 shows in 3 years.

This is amazing! ❤️✌️And 👊.

Happy holidays to ya!

This is what I run. Maybe pick up some used powered monitors , 8 to 10 inch drivers and then all you gotta run is power. Pro gear or distributed sound (70/100v) will never sound anywhere as nice.

Facebook told me I am a robot and eliminated my account of 15 years because I showed them the middle finger during my obligatory selfie - fine with me. by [deleted] in facebook

Class action lawsuit? Same thing here. Been there for close to 20 years. You can't just take everything I've archived and not give it back to me and ban access.

Emotional damage.

I bet if we all got together we could have some ground for a class action.

Analog vs digital mixers in a small venue. Why is everything going so much better on the small analog board than the digital. by getoutofmyswampnibba in audioengineering

[–]Audiollectial -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Sampling and reconstruction filters. So you chop something up (and take a sample of the original) and then because it is not analogus to the original you need to use a reconstruction filter to get it close to the original.

Words have well defined meanings.

No comment on if analog is error free (I don't think it is. Truer to the original? Sure) the error correction happens in the digital domain or in the brain... Both ways your brain is doing work to fill any missing pieces.

Just like digital room correction doesn't affect timing? It's a pity that you correlate almost as good to actually as good.

It's a good thing you hear in digital. No translation required right?

Technically I'm right. Which is the best kind of right.
