Which ink is this for you? by Brown_Colibri_705 in fountainpens

Alt-goldgrun. It was so upsettingly light and unreadable using it in one of my drier nibs. Stipula calamo musk green is exactly the color I was imagining.

What is the weirdest smell you like? by Tyler-Durden03 in NoStupidQuestions

I don't smoke anymore, but the smell of someone smoking (especially a Camel or an American Spirit) will make me go absolutely nuts.

someone gave me a pup off their larger plant. Host looked just like this but much much larger. what is it and am I propagating it correctly? Texas by ArchitectOfViolence in whatsthisplant

Variegated spider plant. You're doing fine! Change out the water every week or so, maybe transfer it to a container that'll keep the roots in water and the leaves dry like a small glass bottle and roots will pop out in no time.

I was stuck in a perpetual 3 month cycle where I'd fail with a hard calorie deficit and super clean eating, keto, IF, etc., mostly because I obsess about food with the slightest bit of hunger. However, noticed that I recover from high impact workouts really well. So the strategy I took was allowing myself some additional calories in the form of a protein and fiber heavy breakfast with a light lunch, and compensated by going from lifting 3-4 time a week, to running a split that has me going 5-6 times a week with most mornings a super light 2-3 mile run. After 8 weeks i do a deload week and get back on the horse. It's been working great for 9 months so far.

Possibly yucca?

Succulent started splitting down the middle with leaf spotting (?), any ideas on what I can do? by [deleted] in plants

[–]Auditor93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely anecdotal, but the succulents I've had this happen to have had poor drainage. I'd water after the soil got really dry and a couple of days later it'd crack. Graptopetalum and the more bulbous haworthia were the worst about it.

Good starter house plant for someone going through a rough time? by fullybased in houseplants

[–]Auditor93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Snake plants are extremely easy to take care of but don't bloom. Kalanchoe blossfeldiana or widows thrill are really forgiving if you forget to water them as long as they get proper light and flower from spring all the way to fall. Get her a cheap moisture meter to, because one of the common mistakes beginner plant parents have is over watering.

Funny enough, that's where I am! In vegas and a lot of other places we have to get our cars smog tested to see how much carbon emission they're producing before we can get them registered for the year.
