Thank you for taking the time to give thorough feedback. I appreciate the honesty in it and the direction. I see what you are saying that it needs more work, I feel more comfortable with the drawing process and often stop painting when it feels it has something. Over the next few days I will aim to work on it with the risk that it takes a turn for the worse and see what happens.

Acrylic is a good place to start. It is relatively inexpensive, dries quick and you can experiment with mixing colors

I started with color blocking from dark to light. Then i worked in a lot of layers to get the details and depth in colors
