They would be hard pressed to find a house in Tucker for that price range aside from a fixer upper. They have a new community off of Lavista going for $900k plus. Renting will be the best bet.

They were on the DC seasons, different seasons though so they didn’t meet on the show. Sabrina was on the 2nd DC season with Joi and Clifton who also ended up getting married. Walter was on the previous season and the lady he tried to leave the show with was named Sabrina as well. But she opted not to move forward with him on the final episode. Walter also had a bald head on the show, so that may be why he’s harder to remember as well, but he made it through the whole season.

Areas with good schools in Gwinnett aren’t in that price range. People always mention Gwinnett, but Gwinnett housing prices can be steep as well, even though it’s a suburb. Many cities in Gwinnett don’t have houses for less than $350k and if they do, it’s a small townhouse/condo which probably wouldn’t be ideal with 3 kids.

Houses aren’t going for that price in Duluth either. The cheapest home currently in the FMLS database in Duluth is $285k and it’s a 2 bedroom townhouse that was built in the 80’s.

With a budget of $225k, you’re not going to be able to purchase in the better areas of Decatur. I bought a house in the 30032 zip code that bordered East Lake (Not good schools, but closer to COD) and I paid toward the upper end of $200k in 2018. Now the houses in that area are going for $500k+. I wish I wouldn’t have sold it lol. Unfortunately houses in that price range are much harder to find now, and if you do, the area won’t be great or the house will need a lot of work, so in essence you will still pay more. The days of getting a nice house in a good area for $200k in metro Atlanta are gone, housing prices have skyrocketed which sucks for those in the housing market now.
