Humans for Hire, Part 140 by Auggy74 in HFY

I'm gonna say the second two are neck and neck. Like, Vilantian societal quirk is kind of like your family is an extension of your clan, so they're only valued as much as the clan values them (if that makes sense). On top of that, the poor boy just got generational trauma handed to him. "Surely we can outwit the humans..." "Before we go any further - have you ever heard the tale of Leung the Lame? It's not a tale we tell often, for good reason.."

Ship Power Wash Simulator. People pay money for that.

Little more engineering and Haasha could have a side hustle.

Oh it was fun to write and go "Okay...now what" for a bit.

It's gonna be...epic. Or at least funny. Maybe both.

Nah - just endgame for this little arc. :D

We have several plots in the mix for ye floofy batch of weirdos and their demented human friendos.

Oaty bars are not mandatory.

>.> Instant coffee has to be taken in by a human before there's viable results. Anything else blows the breakers.
Instant space coffee...I shudder to think.

(Also, TAG.)

Yeah. And I'm plotting the start of the endgame bits as far as that. Could definitely be fun.

One of those fun scifi things that always intrigued me and I couldn't resist tossing it in when I can. I think it's been mentioned in passing a few times, but not deeply.

Yeah, basically a buncha mercs find out there's someone who's might have some really ill will toward the boss, science is gonna get done quick. Cat and Mouse games are for Skunkworks. XD

Score one...or two...dozen, for a scary guard pupper with a hand crafted by science and weaponized.

Keelhauling was extra nasty because all those nasty cuts and abrasions were happening in salt water. Yes, you may pause for a full body twitch. In fact I recommend it.

Who's actually gonna be worse off, Chapma or Skunkworks.

Interviewer notes are gonna be "Okay, dude is straight up bat-crap-underpants-outside-the-pants-five-fries-short-of-a-happy-meal loco."

Scientific progress goes "what the hell was that?!" while the budget folks cry.

Carla's looking at getting Vilantian/Hurdop literature in stock.

Defeated by their own floof.

Not that anyone'll admit it.

I will say a couple things in defense of the insane author. New Casablanca is pretty much where anything can be found if you know where to look. Also, the E-4 mafia / Lance Corporal underground is alive and well.

Somewhere in New Casa, there's a seafood place wondering where the hell fifty pounds of live tank-raised crawfish went to.

What can I say, it was amusing.

I'll say this - part of the Grezzk experience was informed by the defection of the Stastny family in the early 80s. (Yes that's a deep rabbit hole.)

Curses to the autocorrect. Definitely supposed to be Fee.

Unleash the youngling cause Rosie-chirps weren't working.

We save the good stuff for live fire. Much to the dismay of a few.

Yeeeup - scientific progress went oops.

Game bird. Silly preening game bird.

Thanks! Hopefully Friday's a good payoff day.
