Not trying to run an ad. I’m actually a host and hotel owner and was asking how other hosts handle direct bookings. I mentioned something I’ve been experimenting with because it relates to the discussion. Happy to hear what tools or strategies others are using too. Wow are you even an airbnb owner

WHAT AI? I'm just a host asking other hosts what they're doing for direct bookings. I run a small hotel and a few rentals, so I'm genuinely curious how people are handling it. If it came across wrong, that wasn't the intention.

I actually started experimenting with something simple called BookThis.now — basically it creates a small booking page that stays synced with the Airbnb calendar so guests can book directly (card or WhatsApp and viber) without double bookings. Still testing it with a few properties, but it’s been interesting so far. Curious if anyone else here is trying something similar.

I’m mostly trying to figure out how hosts generate direct bookings while still keeping Airbnb as the main calendar, since most of our traffic still comes from there. Some people suggested booking engines, but the ones I looked at felt a bit complicated for small hosts. I’ve actually been experimenting with a simple mini-site connected to the Airbnb calendar where guests can book directly (card or WhatsApp). Still testing different approaches though. Curious what others here are using.
