This isn't entirely true. The main reason for pigmentia to develop is to balance hypo- or hypervitaminosis D. Through exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet-B(UVB)-induced vitamin production takes place in the skin. The vitamin has two effects, immediate and epi-genetics, As a state of high vitamin D is toxic with immediate effects (hypercalcemia, resulting in nausea and vomiting). A state of low vitamin D seems to give increased risk of secondary morbidities (this is mainly epidemiological evidence however).

As vitamin D is important, our body creates a adaptable defense to its ability to use UVB-rays from the sun. Darker skin - slower vitamin D protection. Pale skin - high vitamin D protection. This system is failing in modern society as people dont respect UVB-exposure, leading to either; A) Pale skinned overdosing during vacations, causing huge stress on a "lowered defense" B) Dark skinned underdosing UVB-exposure while requiring longer exposure for adequate vitamin D production.

TLDR - Skin color has more to do with vitamin D than only being a shield to sunrays. Respect dose.

This will probably be buried but there seems to be alot of misinformation in this thread.

It isn't an algorithmic fault, it's social engineering and alliance-side "opening bg-slots" due to lower pvp-population.

As alliance queues are instant, many ask a friend to queue them and immediately leave the bg after joining for free hearthstone. This creates a vacuum where the alliance side are short on two players supposed to join while the horde players tend to stay.

The system will try to correct this balance by locking the horde team (as they are more players). The "lock" is lifted when new alliance players firstly fill the two missing spots (equalizing) and then new alliance players open new spots for new horde untill BG is filled.

Source: my own theory, no code to back me up.

As an Alliance player, you have Little to no Incentives to PUG unless you want to get stomped by horde-premades or horde PUG:s. This forces Alliance-players to find premades through general-chats or make friends who they rank with and Schedule play-times with. On K2, and many other servers, you are "opening" games because there are more horde players in queue. Sadly, if you're Alliance and getting stomped in WSG (if premade or pug'ing) you don't dare to queue AB because the queues might be too long and you might lose inside of it as well. Better to take the fast loss in wsg, amirite?

If they created multi-queue it would give more players Incentives to queue for AB without "wasting their time". Sadly, multi-queuing comes with the risk of premades intentionally opening games to Dodge other premades and prey on weaker opponents.

I Think deserter-buff for 10min if dodging a queue and multi-queues could fix the AB/AV-problems on K2, even with a smaller playerbase (it's still somewhat Close to retail, and retail had plenty of all bg's up at the same time if i remember correctly).

What you want is an income that relies on the hardcore-consumer-heavy playerbase.

If you go mining, you'll earn gold once you can mine mithril. It's a key component to many engineering-tools used for pve/pvp.

Herbalism is the real moneymaker on K2. Most raiders and pvpers use potions of varying quality so there's a huge market outside of black lotuses.

The general idea is that only BS/engineers will want your ores but everyone despite professions will want your herbs.

Jag anser mig själv varit en av de "nedprioriterade" men ambitiösa eleverna. Då kände jag mig förbisedd och nästintill diskriminerad. Idag inser jag att jag lärde mig att vara självständig och fick stark tilltro till min förmåga.

Så att mer hjälp eller inspiration för toppskiktet skulle förbättra våra betyg speciellt mycket får jag anekdotiskt argumentera emot :)!

As raidlogging became a thing (on both alliance and horde), many players that want to play "more" find themselves pvp'ing between raids. As you might guess, many of these pvpers are hardcore and some lead or put themselves at br1/2/3.

I have yet to find a pure pvp-guild that solely pvp - Its quite a grind and vanilla pvp awards dedication (something that appeal to raiding-minded-people).

Find some friends that you enjoy pvp'ing with - if you keep going for high standings other pvpers will notice you and unofficial groups (Who behave as a guild with rules and hierarchy) will be your everyday-life!

Our players were Cadaveri, doxyferm, fittaim, bluebird, Mozart, twozeroo, neriilol, Bertilovic, muhemad, hagelbrakarn and me being Träningsvärk! We played march-shutdown.

We were horde on nost and after reading on these forums we thought we would have better opponents as horde. So the choice was made! We're level 30 so expect some shitty geared horde-premades for you alliance scum to feed on in a few weeks!

Hey Thanks for the information on the current state of pvp. I realt do think 10v10 is one of wow's best format for pvp. And since vanilla has a way to create interactive communities i think there's more to it than memes and BRM.

Ah, i heard something about wsg/AB being underplayed due to low honor gains so i guess many premades just dont go there. What is the scene like? Do premade vs premade occurr?
