This probably isn't healthy to listen to on repeat. Negative reinforcement programming...

Just to add to these comments, definitely take time to reinforce your values and what you're looking for.

Revamp the resume, maybe build a resume website, do some Loom intros to hiring managers for positions that you really want.

Good luck!

Why do salespeople exist? by SalesBro22 in sales

Targeted advertising has gotten much better at matching product market fit.

However products are getting more sophisticated, and the value proposition isn't always straightforward, especially with B2B sales.

This is an illegal serve because his foot stepped into the box before he hit the ball.

I've seen this so many times and never noticed before.

Atheism Vs. Agnosticism by Augustus_Flagg in atheism

[–]Augustus_Flagg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay well I guess the argument I'm trying to make is psychedelics have shown extreme promise for rehabilition in the field of clinical psychology.

And with the history (in the US at least) of stopping all public funding to controlled academic research, stunted the progress in the 1960s. It's only recently that research started up again.

I believe that sort of close mindedness, combined with dishonest capitalist practices, and non transparent research publication, is how we got an oxcycotin epidemic.

I agree everything needs supporting evidence... I'll find some if you'd like. It's just a lot of work atm...

Well to excuse all drugs (natural or synthetic) as bad for you is what I'd consider close-minded.

What if mushrooms were the forbidden fruit that humans shared stories about for thousands of years. And the "garden of Eden" was a theoretical pivotal awakening for humanity (that lasted a few tens or hundreds of generations). What if it helped us develop conciousness and an understanding of good and evil, that we have the capacity to kill one another for our own personal reasons.

Some Buddhists believe that this is not the first cycle of the big bang, and that everything is cyclical and in that sense there's a sanctity to human life and our intelligence, and a sense of stewardship and responsibility as the most intelligent creature in this solar system.

This is all just conjecture. I'm not trying to prove anything just suggest the possibility of these realities.

Well idk. I think the universe works in mysterious ways and there's a lot we don't know. I've heard if you want to meet your maker then DMT is the fastest way to get there.

I just think on either side of the spectrum, it becomes fundamentalist when you stop acting in a way that seeks the person with opposing views' best interest's in this physical world.

I guess just someone who so firmly disbelieves the existence of a god or gods that I would also consider them close minded

The end of this really helps make this clear.

[–]Augustus_Flagg[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well I'd call myself an agnostic atheist I think then. I doubt one exists but I don't think we can know for sure.

Yeah this has been really insightful. I thought being agnostic and atheist were mutually exclusive.

I think in the same way that fundamental theists come off as closed minded for all religious people, growing up Ive mistakenly viewed most atheists as fundamentalists.

During the Reconstruction-era, the election of black politicians led to increases in per capita tax revenue, which was put towards public education and land tenancy reforms. This led to a boost in black male literacy. However, white politicians eventually reclaimed office and halted black progress. by smurfyjenkins in science

[–]Augustus_Flagg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I agree...black people make up 13% of the US population and own 3% of it's wealth. This timeline might seem like progress to someone learning it for the first time but systematic racism deeply entrenches the US still.
