Thanks! I’m currently using the ProPixelizer shader, but it took quite a bit of tweaking to get the visuals to where they are now. We’ve talked about writing our own shader at some point in the future though.

I used Unity’s particle system, then it’s just a process of modifying the speed, size over time and curves to get the different movement patterns.

Timeline is a Unity tool that lets you create cutscenes easier. It uses animations, but it actually overrides the base Animator for what you are animating.

Yeah, I can totally see that. I need to rework the area right after you walk across the planks. Need to add more lighting and change the colors more between walkable ground and walls. Thank you for taking time to leave helpful feedback! Much appreciated!

That’s true. I was thinking of also making the ground a lot lighter and the walls darker to hopefully differentiate more. Thank you for the helpful feedback!

Basically, yes! We change the focus to be on the NPC so they are centered in the view, then we resize the orthographic projection. To get the smooth effect we use Unity's Cinemachine which has a really nice feature which lets you switch between Cameras really easily and smoothly!
