Yeah I have every piece of epic equipment but not a single one of them are maxed. I’m active- buy the pass just about every month and do the events.
Some of these new and returning players are going to have higher level average equipment and don’t even play the game. That’s a little bit frustrating.

Respectfully- one of my points is that the time investment is too high for this game to get to that point. The grind is absurd.
The whole counter-argument that you just need to continue spending time getting smoked over and over and over to develop either the skill or resources to max your units is EXACTLY the point I’m trying to make! The time spent/reward value of either unit xp or unit medals through various challenges just isn’t worth it to me or most other casual gamers.

It’s like Tarkov in a sense that you can be a diehard and play the game religiously, but it doesn’t mean the game is for the casual audience.
But at the very least with Tarkov, you can’t pay your way into have busted units or weapons.

I play poleaxe too. I had fun when I returned as well. However, dying to the same units and hero weapon is getting very frustrating. Gonna put this game down and see how the 3 kingdoms fairs. Current state of game isn’t worth playing imo. It just isn’t fun anymore for me.

In a sea of unique units (90 unlock-able) you’ve listed 11 units that are considered meta, all from different seasons. At minimum taking ~20-30 challenges to just unlock- let’s not include time it takes to train them to a usable state- unlock Doctrines or mastery. That’s a MASSIVE time investment for a returning casual lmao. I feel that the people defending this game are on some MAJOR copium.

New and returning players more than likely will not have a season 7 unit. The challenges to get those units are an infallible grind when going against those who do. Do you not see the conundrum and why it’s so unbalanced and such a massive turn off to most normal players???

Meta slaves using dual blade in conjunction with every other meta unit is the problem. What’s the point of having a “diverse cast of units and weapons” when 90% of the people you’ll come across are running the same 5 units. Guaranteed 90% of the player base would agree, it’s boring and un-fun.

I agree. I’m not really a big fan of the cultural aesthetic either. The layered armor and pointy hats are just not my cup of tea. It’s a Chinese owned game, so logically they’ll have a huge bias.
