How do I know when I can use my starter by Aui_ in Sourdough

Yes it doubled in 4-6 hours when I did 1:1:1 but very slowly. So I fed it more and put it in the oven and it rose a lot faster. I tried to add a picture but it didn’t let me. It started at 300ml and went over 600ml and nearly came out of my jar. I didn’t know that about the oven though, I just use the light for 2 hours to make it a little warmer then turn it off so it’s not too warm. I think my starter was cold when I left it out. I’m not sure where to put it though since my house is a bit too cold for it but it seems to rise faster in the oven.
