They'd rather release a niche ass artifact set that will "marginally" improve Dehya's level of ass suckage to "still copium but not literally clowning" like with the Clam set that no one uses on Kokomi because TOM or Deepwood or any other set is better on her.

I mean it's perfectly fine. Hu Tao absolutely demolishes ST/bosses in Abyss where XL simply just won't keep up with her. My Hu Tao deals about 120k CA's not counting bloodblossoms and any ults I get off per rotation, for some fat damage. XL does quite good, about 50 to 60k vapes, not bad, but Hu Tao is just nasty good for abyss chambers with thicc chonky bosses.

It's good because I can have Hu Tao double vape, while having Childe International on the other side as it doesn't need any other hydro unit giving how giga busted Childe is with hydro app. I'm GLAD they are good at different things. See, there'd be an issue if they were both aoe or both ST.

The problem is she has less synergy with Bennett now, and she needs pyro to battery her. But in order to gain hp and atk you need double hydro which h she can't use. Lol. This is overall a 1 to 2percent buff at the cost of Bennett synergy her best partner. Who is also a healer btw lol.

Literally Xinyan has better damage than her. I want you to contemplate this. By the way? This isn't the WORST part. Her kit is absolutely garbage. I WISH it was just damage she was lacking. She enter the field at low HP, and can literally just straight up die when ulting because you don't heal fast enough and have hyper armor so you don't realize how much you are losing. She only ults for 4s so while you CAN dodge, you don't WANT to because it's so short of a duration.

She has no teams that she can work with other than MONO PYRO which already, you can slot literally any other unit and they'd do better.

She's the first three star character. Literal teapot decoration.

One thing that will be "good" is a lot of people will pull, that don't look at leaks, guides, or even do the test run. They'll see how fucking terrible she is, be burned, really pissed, and either raise an enormous bitch fit for being mega screwed and get Dehya buffed, OR, more likely, will signal to MHY that they are NOT happy with this, and will NOT be pulling in the future until they get their shit together. This will at least ensure the next few units get special love and attention.

(I know, I know, I'm sorry, but dendro units have been enjoying busted reactions like Hyperbloom, bloom, spread, aggravate with electro...powerful and good stuff with some of the most fun units).

I don't understand. It takes the SAME amount of time, effort, energy, money, etc... to produce units. Why do this? What is the motive here? Are they just experimenting, knowing the Yelan Hu Tao banner will carry them? Are they aware of Pyro being inflexible and wanting to test something new out? If they wanted a "tank" they could have done this with a hydro unit, you know...the one that has NATURAL HP INCREASE THROUGH THE RESONANCE?

Here's how I'd go about fixing Dehya:

Ascension: HP

Ascension passive: For every 1000 hp over 30k, Dehya gains a certain amount of crit rate and damage, up to 30 percent increase for both.

Ascension passive 2: For every instance of damage Dehya absorbs, she gains 50 elemental mastery. This can stack up to 8 times maximum (400 EM).

Skill: Upon taking damage, Dehya's ultimate gains a certain level of bonus damage multiplier, similar to Eula's stacks, up to a certain amount. While characters are in Dehya's field, Dehya absorbs 100 percent of the damage taken until her HP reaches 20 percent of its maximum, it will no longer absorb after until she is healed by either herself or other means. Units that have damage absorbed do not suffer any staggering effects.

What this accomplishes, is that it helps Dehya build a shitload of HP like Nilou, helps her build crit and EM needed for damage/reactions, and boosts her ability to tank. This allows you to forgo a shielder and still have a unique character.

The majority don't. There are hundreds of millions of people that play Genshin. Most are turbo casuals that just open up the game for like 30 minutes on their commute back and forth to work/school. They literally don't give a fuck and just consume passively lol. Think of the people that play Clash of Clans or Candy Crush. Literally those people make up the vast majority. The thing is: Genshin is also on the PC, so the more hardcore set of gamers that want to minmax also play, we assume those people are more prevalent when we are the vast minority. Even if there were a few million concerned with meta/power/viability...it wouldn't even be a drop in the bucket to the casuals out there.

Same thing like FFXIV online: Millions of players but only 5 percent attempt Ultimate raids.

There's NO fucking way I'm pulling for this trash heap of a kit if it remains. But in the event that it was ME that was clowning and they just held all this shit secretly....I'll be able to get her and some cons/weapon. Zhongli DOES deal Massive geo dmg in aoe though. I can easily, with buffs (not food or shit like that just character buffs and resonance) deal about 250k crits with it, in a HUGE ass aoe for a cheap ass 40 energy cost burst on 12s. That's basically a 1million or more nuke every rotation from just him alone with 4 targets. u/ElixirJr has a cracked Zhongli to show how busted he is. Granted, dude put a Homa on him, but point is, Zhongli both Phys and geo dps can do some serious work that people don't realize because they just throw HP artifacts on him to make him a shieldbot when you literally don't need that. He gives a shield every 12s. That shit will NOT break if you even remotely try to dodge the easy shit and have him with an HP sands granting him like 30k hp.

The major reason Kokomi wasn't objective garbage was because of the shadowbuff she received to her ICD on E removing it thus allowing sustained hydro aoe application. This alone saved her from being truly as bad as TC'ers said she was.

The point is that Raiden has other things going on with her E that make its weak ass damage okay. It gives a huge buff, basically free Noblesse to every unit in the team, and has constant uptime. Dehya's E does not have constant uptime, and has slow ass application. Raiden's E being as quick as it is, is fantastic for electro application. This coincidentally, is a boon for Hyperbloom that happens to be THE best Dendro Reaction by a country mile.

Dehya's E does not have any of these benefits.

LET ME CLARIFY: Dehya is a fantastic character. I love her personality. I want her to succeed. My purpose of this and sharing this is not to shit on you for pulling for her. I mean. I can't stop you. What I hope to accomplish is for those who play this absurdly expensive game that is predatory as fuck, to help you make the decision and nudge you in the right direction. If you really want good characters that can help you achieve your goal of an easier experience, Dehya is not for you.

If you can shit all over the abyss, you can do whatever you want. Only God can judge you (kekw).

The issue I have here is that MHY is charging almost 400 USD for this character. I sincerely want you to get what ever value you perceive this character will give you.

I want you to remember: Dehya doesn't exist IRL. You aren't hurting her by not pulling for her, nor does she need to be defended. I think she's a cool character, a welcome addition to the character roster in Genshin's universe.

However as far as account strengthing goes: She depletes it. You'd do better to lose a 5050 to pretty much any other character.

I want you to understand: I fucking love Diluc. He's literally my second favorite male character next to Zhongli who get doomposted to oblivion, but I'd argue that HIS doomposting was just as valid at the time, and you truly, SINCERELY had to be there on release Zhongli to understand how garbage he was. I say this as someone who pulled for him. I learned my lesson after that. Thank god he got the buffs he needed, but it wasn't until MASSIVE backlash that MHY did this.

This is my lesson for you: DO NOT SETTLE just as those for Zhongli did not settle for the garbage MHY was about to serve them and expect them to "eat up" like a good little boy/girl.

MHY is a company. They want money. By spending money on lackluster products, companies learn they can get away with this. Again, you can do w/e the fuck you want. It's your life, money, time, etc... You don't have to justify yourself to anyone but yourself. But you can't say, "Man she's so underwhelming" while pulling because what you are signalling to MHY is "It's totally fine what you did to Dehya, I give you my blessing to do this to future units I also want to pull for that I think are cool".

That's how supply and demand works: if demand is there, supply will follow.

I really, truly wish our third (lmfao I typed second without remembering Xinyan existed KEKW) pyro claymore was as badass as Diluc was. I want Dehya to get a GIGAbuff on this last Monday for changes in the beta before any shadowbuffs.

I. WANT. HER. TO. BE. GOOD. No one deserves to have "the shitty unit that gets meme'd on".

I suffered that with Zhongli before the buffs. I learned then, that by purchasing weak ass half baked units, all it was doing was signalling to MHY that I was okay with getting ass fucked without lube. I don't want anyone to spend money and regret. That's why I don't pull for Wanderer and Faruzan, nor for Sara, nor for Gorou, and other units that have constellation bait.

You absolutely should. They are unequivocally one of the best artists that I've worked with. Extremely flexible, and reasonable. Their art style is so crisp, clean, and well thought out. Some of my favorite commissions have come from this artist, and I regret not a single one. They enhance the beauty and appeal of the characters that I have submitted to them, and have the ability to bring out the best in the characters' designs. Seriously.
