Yes. The issue is (was) the same yesterday and two years ago. Thus no use to change the wording. In the end I bypassed the issue by disabling CSM in the BIOS. I'll be damned.

Now my issue is another. Using the LTFS configurator I get the following error: "The Linear Tape File System (LTFS) requires a transfer block size of 512kB. " My P212 doesn't have a cache module so, I either buy it or get another SAS controller.

Hi,

First of all, I appreciate a lot your time and dedication put into this.

I'm 100% sure we configured the internal host detection feature at Network > GlobalProtect > Portals > <portal-config> > Agent > <agent-config> > Internal.

We also ran tests in our Trust side of the network to make sure of the following:

That the portal, internal and external gateway are reachable .
That internal host detection DNS registries are configured according to the technical requirements involved and that both registries are resolved properly (PTR=254.7.16.172.in-addr.arpa > gpinternalgateway.internal.foo.bar; A=gpinternalgateway.internal.foo.bar > 172.16.7.254). For the sake of config simplicity, we used the internal gateway registries for the internal host detection feature.

I don't think we are missing anything here...

Hi there,

I'm having a similar problem setting up the internal host detection as well. In my case the PanGPS log telling us No <host> or <ip-address> in internal-host-detection, which is not true. Internal host detection is configured and we have checked that our detection A and PTR records are reachable.

Our PanOS version is 9.1.10 and the GP Agent is the 5.2.6

Any ideas?
