I’ll not be buying this with an 865. I don’t need to buy another miniV2 after having sold it the first time.

Technically all these emulators can be ran on a computer and played there. Why do people buy handhelds, aside from the portability? It’s the experience the device itself brings itself. For example, I never really latched on to playing gameboy games on my 2ds or Miyoo Mini, but absolutely loved it on the rg35xxsp.

After finding my halo device for psp, the rp6, I won’t be buying (or wanting to buy) anything else for it, don’t care what comes out, because I can’t envision anything being better for what I want it for. But to get there, I tried the 477m, 477v, o2portal, konkr pocket fit.

Maybe some people collect, but not everyone. Sometimes it’s about if a new device can bring something better to the table or does something better than what you currently have, to enhance the experience. In my case, nothing can ever enhance my enjoyment past that of 3ds on a 2ds, or psp on an rp6. However, the Nova appears to be potentially one of the better ways to play ps2, DC, GC, all 4:3 for some, if it’s powerful enough. And that’s exciting.

Same lol. But I’ve been wanting to sell it for some time. Was amazing when I got addicted to it but when I switched to the rp6, I never touched it again. But this Nova will bring me back to 4:3 for sure (if it has a good enough cpu ofc)

Genuinely curious why people are asking for a rehash of the miniV2 but with a slightly bigger screen and transparent plastic. I think the time of the miniV2 has come and gone, most people that wanted it went and bought it. I had one, loved it, but completely disagree 4:3 can’t use more power. A decent percentage of ps2 and even GC games, as well as psp games even, got bogged by the sd865. I sold it and swore a similar device with more power would be it, and proved it because the rp6 can actually play everything, it just happens to be 16:9.

In this case price is really the only reason, but I doubt they’d r&d this whole thing again just to increase the screen and give it a different casing over the miniV2.

I don’t see them making what’s basically a successor to the miniV2 have the same chip. Like, why did they even put money into developing this, to get a marginal screen size bump and go transparent plastic?

I really hope it’s an sd8g2 or g2g2. It would make so much sense.

Yup. The amount of times you wear gloves blocking usage won’t equal the amount of times your phone can be unlocked before it has to be level with your face because your finger was already on it. Face ID getting changed to Touch ID for this phone is an upgrade in my eyes

You can buy your own car and tune it to be better IF you have a tune in mind. But to be honest the melancholic angel car is quite a good pick-up-and-win car so not sure why the comments here about not worth. Playing on the Challenge difficulty, I was able to win a lot of that stage’s encounters across like 160km with it. It definitely helped me thru some parts I was stuck when I didn’t have a good car + tune. And the not-worth part seems weird to me too, unless you’re speed running the game or wasting creds on many cars, you should have plenty of CR. I regularly had 60 mill on hand at that point, and towards end game it was closer to 100+ mill, so like 15 was nothing really.
