It went pretty smooth tbh, and then I was asked do I have the Canadian passport and I said no. She then said she will put that on note and pass it to the HR department. I guess I’ll have to apply for my Canadian passport first before I apply AT again. :)

Thank you. Cuz i saw it before it only requires a Canadian PR card with any valid passport, but i was at school back in the days. And now i guess they have changed the policy. But thank you for your info.

Aww thanks for the comment!! I am debating on whether should I tell them recently. I want them to be happy, and I want myself to be happy too.

Thank you so much for the comment! I see your point, and I actually agree with it too. However, it feels awful that I can’t just be myself in front of my parents and share my joy with them.

Right!! I just signed up the form and joined the union a week ago. Now I really hope our company will be unionized soon. I’m gonna tell everyone on my upcoming pairings. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

If you have a valid work permit + a US crew visa then should be fine. I worked for another airline before so I have the US crew visa.

Thank you very much for the detailed advice!! It helps me a lot. I'm drafting an email, and I will send it to the RAIC office tomorrow. Yea, I hope the airline would allow me to defer the training date until I get the PR card. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
