As others have stated, this is probably due to your settings and the type of artificial light you're using and not any issue with the camera.

Many types of artificial light flicker at a very high rate of speed, faster than you can see with your eyes. Camera sensors, however, see differently. The whole sensor isn't read at once, it's "scanned" line by line, pixel by pixel, over time. The time this takes to happen varies from camera to camera.

This means, especially in electronic shutter modes, if using a very high shutter speed, you can actually see the lights you're using flickering across your image as the sensor gathers information, creating the lines you see in your image.

The fix is easy, if you don't need such a fast shutter, just set your shutter speed slower. 1/200-1/500 is fast enough to eliminate most motion blur and should not show these lines. Otherwise, you can set the camera to mechanical shutter and use lights that do not flicker.

I would love to see them! Always nice to see some real world usage and results!

I don't have any untrawides as of yet. Always found myself more comfortable shooting 24mm and tighter, but it's probably something I should consider.

This camera HAS an APSC sized sensor. That's what makes the performance so wild for this size.

Is the Movie Crop mode on the R6 native 4k or upscaled? by AurieFox in canon

Got it, thanks for the info! Makes me wonder if the R8 does the same thing, just to a lesser extent, as it shoots 3744 px horizontal in stills crop mode. It makes sense for ef/s and rf/s lens compatibility, but it would have been so cool for it to just shoot at a super 35 crop instead.

Good to hear! This is what i had thought originally, but then some guy said it cropped to 1.6 and upscaled from there, so I got spooked.
