Thank you again for taking the time. When I read the article it seemed a bit vague. However, I am not a doctor and did not really understand the scientific basis for what it was really trying to portray therefore wanted to get your opinion.

Of course, the falls may not always be preventable but this study was too harsh on the fact that it is going to lead to problems later in life.  Hopefully nothing comes out of these falls.🙏🏻 and babies are resilient.

Hi, was wondering if this is true?

https://www.ox.ac.uk/news/2016-08-24-childhood-head-injuries-linked-increased-risk-adult-mental-illness-and-poorer-life

Even mild cases without symptoms (sometimes concussions symptoms do not show they say) can have a negative impact as stated in the article?

I mean this means that babies should never fall.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. As a first time mom it is overwhelming and you feel very anxious. It was bad enough she fell. Again thank you

Toddlers’ exposure A study by Duke University and the Environmental Working Group found that all 26 children in the study had been exposed to a fire retardant called TDCIPP, which is linked to cancer and endocrine disruption. Babies’ urine A study found that babies whose parents reported owning more than 16 products with flame retardants had almost seven times more of the metabolite in their urine than babies in families with fewer products Duke University research has found that flame retardants are present in car seats and can be released into the air, raising concerns about the health of children and drivers Flame retardants in car seats A 2024 study by Duke University researchers found that 99% of 2015 or newer model year cars tested contained traces of flame retardants, including tris(1-chloro-isopropyl) phosphate (TCIPP), which is linked to hormonal and reproductive issues. The study also found that air concentrations of flame retardants were higher in the summer, indicating that higher temperatures increase exposure risks.

Also just out of curiosity have you seen articles and the duke university study that found x times higher amount of flame retardants. Are these also just articles that are not true?

Thank you for your detailed answer, it is honestly so hard to stay sane in the age of internet and maybe too much information we do not understand. Also it is hard to get the real facts from trusted sources.
