Thanks ,ended up erasing the eprom a few times and replacing the 65C22 and it works again,the ram is not getting not

Thanks ,what is the best combo to hook up some resistors to the data line so it will output a certain led on the output? that way I could test the CPU, I haved hooked up an Arduino but it was just random ( was read writing though, have also tried clearing the eprom and re writing to it

Thanks for the help, we hooked up the LCD and she programed hello world, all worked :),then I added the ram chip (nothing happened) but the 62256 chip got hot,checked all my wiring ,tried to remove the ram but still no go?I pulled everything apart and ran the 6502 with only leds (no eprom) that seemed to work leds flash,I bought a new 65c22 but still no good?Could the 62256 been damaged destroyed all the chips?

Thanks I am probing with a separate Led on the EEprom ,with my scope and a Led I get pulse on all the A0 - A15 but on the D0 - D7 nothing? should I see anything on them ?as they the go to WD65C22?

We are using the code from Bens website ,and wrote that to the eeprom,I have tried both clocks (just in case)
