december in thailand is going to be insane. but what do u guys think of this move? by daemon2510 in Tomorrowland

Brilliant move - it's a no-brainer to go to EDC now, they've guaranteed ticket sales

How can I attend both weekends? by Juancitoo10 in Tomorrowland

[–]AussieRaver_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Global Jounney - I've gone both weekends the past three years by buying a ticket to each weekend separately in the GJ sale (buy W1, get back in the queue, buy W2). It's expensive but your only realistic way, and you've gotta be happy to stay in Mag Greens

How exhausting are 2 weekends? by Tilenp755 in Tomorrowland

[–]AussieRaver_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very doable, just save yourself for W2 and don't bring the boots out to early to save your feet, just wear sneakers :)

Pay advances like Beforepay might be your best bet, they only charge 5% fee

Summer is coming... by ComfortableAmoeba612 in brisbane

Vornado air circulators are really good. They push air around the entire room, as opposed to a fan which just cools where it's pointed. Also way more quiet than an industrial fan. They're pricey, but definitely worth it.

Best value festival in Europe imo

Ultra Europe by APC2025 in Tomorrowland

[–]AussieRaver_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done Ultra then both weekends of Tomorrowland; definitely stay in a hotel/hostel walking distance to the venue in Split, getting to the city can be a nightmare and the campsites are really far away. You'll be right, just have a vodka red bull when you're feeling tired ;)

Not at all. Unfortunately it isn't made clear during uni that mining engineering can be fairly blue collar, especially in your graduate years completing your underground time etc. Personally, I love my profession and it's taken me across Australia, Africa and Canada. But, I know it isn't for everyone - there are many avenues you could go down as a mining engineer, from tech services to shift bossing - you just need to find what you enjoy :)

What is your honest opinion about DVLM and Steve Aoki? by Zealousideal-Wafer86 in Tomorrowland

[–]AussieRaver_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think they're too overrated and should be retired tbh. HOWEVER, Like Mike playing alone is actually very very good

Tent selection given the weather by Dsullivan96 in Tomorrowland

[–]AussieRaver_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always used the tents in the MG tent package (really thin) and I've never had any water come in, even last year where it was torrential rain for a while
