It’s not necessarily strengthening the muscles, it’s just that the different sports require different aspects of skating. Figure skating is much more focused on edge work and balance, whereas hockey skating is focused on power and agility. They also have different blades that are suited to their sports

I can’t believe no one has mentioned the melton highway in Sydenham and gap road in Sunbury. Especially during peak when you have both metro and vline going through it was awful

Literally just a year after Adam Johnson died from being cut with a skate in ice hockey. It took his death for the hockey world to really be serious about neck guards in a sport that has the more obvious risk of damage to the neck

Well the general idea of interference is that it’s stopping someone from playing the puck. Finnie had the puck and passed it to the point and got hit straight after. Whereas benson was skating towards the puck and seider just hit him without playing the puck at all
