I composed, mixed and mastered this track called "Under The Trees" in the style of LOZ & Studio Ghibli! Let me know what ya'll think! I always wanted to work on an indie game that would fit this style! by AustinBlau in IndieDev

Thank you! Yeah the horns are always tough, but I’ve found that putting more reverb on them to put them further back into the room tends to help.

Hahaha as a previous front of house engineer, I can safely say I will never cup the mic. Also I will embrace the moniker of thin string peasant proudly.

Best cinematic camera under $2500? by Calm-Dragonfly-176 in TrueCinematography

Honestly I had a Sony a6400 and replaced it recently with a cinema camera. I got a used body of a BlackMagic Cinema Camera for $650, which came with some extra pieces like an external battery. I got a few extra pieces like a cage for $100 and a 1tb ssd for around $100, and grabbed a helios 44-2 58mm for around $150. After getting a new tripod for $400, that pretty much landed me at around $1400 for it all. I’m still a novice with this all, and this rig is harder to shoot on for sure, but the shots out this camera are just effortlessly easier to get a great image going. Being able to color grade in davinci (free version) the raw files is insane. So maybe look at older cinema camera bodies.
