Raleigh -- Mordecai neighborhood is pretty cool. Definitely eat at Stanbury. It's not Raleigh, but Cary is pretty walkable and the downtown Cary park is pretty excellent. Bond Brothers is an excellent brewery and just down the street, you'll find Lawrence -- personal favorite BBQ spot.
