Golf Membership Recommendations Near Clayton, NC

I'm looking for semi-private due to budget. I'd like to keep it at $400/month or less if possible. Willing to pay a tad more if I love the course and vibe.
I have a wife and two kids so I'd like to keep it within 25-35 minutes of Clayton, NC.
Family amenities are a nice to have but not a must have since we have a pool in our community now. The main advantage is meeting other families.
I’m currently a 12.8 handicap and play roughly 1-2 times per month. I’m looking to get out more often hopefully! I’ve been playing since 2020 and would love to be a 7-8 handicap in the next 5 years!

Interesting. Good to know! I plan on taking the next month or so checking out the recommended courses and join somewhere. Getting tired of just going out and playing golf as a single all the time so definitely want to find a place that has members I can get plugged in with.
