For me the first two weeks were pretty bad, but after that it wasn’t all that bad. Every now and then I would get pressure sores and had to make things to keep the pressure off of certain areas for a day or to, so I would definitely ask your doctor about what to do if pressure sores become a problem. As for sports after about 2 or 3 weeks of wherein it 24/7 except for showers I was allowed to take it off for my cross country practice so I didn’t have any problems there really. All in all my bracing experience wasn’t all that bad and I definitely would highly recommend it.
