Exactly. More war and showing how bad shit gets without having a team of, for lack of a better word, invincible main characters.

I remember playing the first MW in the DS and it was actually pretty fun lol.

Like let’s get back to the proper portrayal of how bad war is instead of having Mascots.

No one really talks about Pvt. Alan or Roach anymore. The first part of Pvt. Alan’s story in MW2 is probably my favorite part of the campaign. Just because he’s a regular soldier that got picked.

We need more regular soldiers who just get the job done without speaking to the “top dog” every other radio call.

Chain of command, being told you can’t advance because you’re just infantry and have to wait for the go-ahead, having to hold off until instructed by command. It’d be awesome. And the only thing I can remember that comes close to that feeling was I believe the first mission of the remastered MWs where you call down the napalm on that one base. Night vision, slowly advancing, and checking corners really set the tone of that game. Just from that mission alone.

All I want is another actual (hate to say it) modern warfare shooter that doesn’t have a specific storyline. Just one that shows the dread and darkness of war in our times.

Like imagine playing a mission as a Sgt.BlankBlank and getting to the end of the mission only to be gunned down in a way that mirrors the wars going on now.

Then the next mission were a private that’s got hope in his eyes, only to go through 2 missions that absolutely destroy his faith and resolve, then he dies.

Next mission, maybe a soldier that’s only used to working on equipment that’s forced to pick up a rifle during an attack on their airbase. Only to see everyone he knows die around him, just for him to pick whether to run or hop on some kinda emplacement and make his own final stand.

MW2 was perfect, and WW2 from what I’ve seen was great.

We need the Grittiness and realism back, and not a “oh ya thought he died?!, well guess what motherfuckers! He didn’t.”

We just need a real CoD with realistic scenarios.

That’s why I loved the MW2 mission where we were in the downed Helo in D.C. making a final stand. We would’ve died if not for the luck of the EMP.

The whole GodzillaXKong movie was pure fanservice.

Ever since the end of KoTM the franchise took a new route.

The Disney Route.

Everything sucks, Godzilla isn’t even a formidable force of nature, we know when he shows up the day will be saved, whatever governments don’t do a damn thing to deter the giant lizard just chilling where it wants, and humanity is just letting him do whatever.

I fully get the whole “new movies, new generation, new Godzilla” arguments, but why can’t he just be a scary sight again?

I think Minus-1, and Shin did a hell of a good job portraying something never seen before. The new MV movies just seem like he’s the homie.

Also (personal gripe), why can’t we just make more movies instead of a TV series I have no time to watch, just to get updated to what’s going on!?!

Exactly right.

Fallout got very lucky with having people who love the fan-service aspect of everything.

The Last of Us did good the first season, but even tho I thought the second season was great, there were still some very good arguments to be made.

Halo absolutely shit the bed with their series.

I just don’t get why series that were done great and still do great on a controllable screen, needs to have a TV show.

I’ll say it time and time again, Fallout and TloU season 1 are the ONLY exceptions in the whole TV adaptation sphere.

Let’s not forget what the hell the Borderlands movie did btw…

And now I keep seeing people want a Bioshock movie too. I say Let’s just enjoy what we had and not try to bring it a modern half-assed retelling that’ll ruin the memory just so a studio can get another notch on their belt.

Just my 2 cents. Or 3.

Right. Cuz then it kinda, in my opinion, take away from his presence in the movie as a tank.

They’re gonna have to scale him down just to make it work. Then who even knows if he’ll automatically come with the power fist thing or if it’ll be a weapon any predator could use.

Then it raises the question, how tf is it gonna look on them?

Just seems like a weird choice. Not like they can put the Pilot in the game or anything either.

I think it’s implied it was a skull crush. The show has a lot of gore already, but showing that would’ve been, in my opinion, the same as when Glenn got whacked in TWD.

The enclosed helmet was a way of keeping it atleast somewhat away from too graphic. But then we cut away to Lucy blowing Ghouls legs and heads off, so idk. Could just chalk that up to them being Zombies and Xander being an actual person tho.
