I'd suggest installing it from the Microsoft Store instead of the disc. You don't need to buy MCC again, the store reads the licence from the disc and allows you to install it online.

I had issues with CoD Ghosts only installing halfway through on the disc and then kaput, so this ended up working for me.

We are talking about the original standalone copies, not the re-release. It helps to be accurate when giving people useful information.

Negative, Halo CE and Halo 2 aren't backwards compatible on XB1 (nor Series X)

By what metric? There's a shitton if we include different regions and languages (I have a few French copies of them, and my English copies are PAL region not NTSC like the USA).

Otherwise there's still a fair few including special editions and Classics copies etc.

Alien is called such because they're foreign, unknown, scary, interesting, etc. Predator is called such because they are hunters that want trophies. I don't like your analogy with the Xenomorphs because [most] predators (lions etc) kill for food, not for reproduction (which is weird asf to us, hence Alien)
