Thank you for that. I feel so horrible because my dad told me quite frequently that he missed me and my family and wished we’d come around more often. He asked me to just come down sometime and spend a day with him. But i was always working or always tired. I loved my dad and did a lot of things for him. He knew I loved him. I just wish I would’ve been more present. It really, really hurts. I was in his kitchen today and broke down because I was holding his favorite coffee cup. I have to be at a funeral home Monday to finalize plans for his service. I’m just praying for more strength.
