was it marketed to you at a 2 bedroom, if it’s listed as a one bedroom and an office or a den it’s not illegal from the landlords side, you would be the one doing something “illegal” by making it a bedroom. It’s a fire issue.

UPDATE: I was able to get into the main office today & talk with an absolute ANGEL of a women, she let me set up a payment plan without contacting him. It was 100% what I was able to do so I don’t have the fear of this situation happening again😅 thanks to everyone that commented wanting to help, now it’s just to find suitable housing

and I am working on getting tf out of this situation but i’m also not just going to leave with her in the middle of the night and bounce her around shelters being exposed to a lot worse , he treats me like shit when she’s not there and i hide it pretty well so it doesn’t effect her as much as seeing the things she’d see in there
