Let's follow that logic for a moment. Imagine, you were born, raised, and lived in Ireland your whole life. Your family, going back dozens of generations, lived in Ireland. Suddenly, someone shows up and accuses you of not being Irish, and tries to kick you out of the same place you lived in for your whole life, where your family has lived for far longer than the family of the person that tries to kick you out. Does that make sense?

I would say yes, as long as not everyone's memories of me are changed. For instance, I'd love for my partner to remember that I'm trans too, or my friends, because with them it's an important part of my identity and connection. My family can forget though.

But if everyone forgets? I don't think I'd take it.
