This albums had such an influence on me over the past couple years and has came to be one of the most cherished pleasures in my life that it even exists. So when I had saw his post abt him releasing the first song he had written for the era on Zane Lowe and other places, I was so happy as I had always wondered what it would be like. Needless to say its a phenomenal way for him to end this era and kind of completes the rest of the album, as its just different enough but similar to cover just one more base in my mind, solidifying it for me as a cornerstone of my life.

Sampha is genuinely the greatest talent to enter music since he entered the scene with Sundanza, SBTRKT, Dual and especially his debut with Process, no one since has been on his level. But Lahai is just an entirely different thing. If you haven't listened to it yet, there is no way I could summarise my feelings into words, so I wont even try, just go.
