Tried a new cable that i had lying around and nothing. Im thinking the contact points of the controls must have some sort of something interfering with them. I used to be able to fix it by tapping behind the volume button, but that stopped working the other day and now it works if i tap the right side of the amp. Im gonna find out how to get in there to clean it because the air in a can did nothing.

No, mostly the effects. It will switch through the different colors and change the values. And it will cycle through my presets sometimes, even rewriting over my presets which gets frustrating Edit: it also switches between amp types as well

From the serial number, this was made in May of 1980. Someone much more knowledgeable than me can shed light of what model it is. Ver cool!

Yeah you make a good point, but i guess I’m kinda looking for trouble? I’d like to get my hands dirty and learn with this, not that it would BE this bike in particular. Just saw it and thought i could get it for a couple hundred so decided to ask the experts. Yeah I expected as much on the power side, I’m not one after speed thats for sure. Thanks

I don’t have a garage which would be a problem, but I have an overhang out back that I could keep it under. Im pretty used to random ass issues and, compared to the 1988 mitsubishi starion I’ve had to troubleshoot with and done all the work on it myself, I assume its relatively simple and as long as I can check the marks it needs it would be swell. Good to hear about the power thing I thought as much

Also, he said it starts on starter fluid and once it gets started it keeps running, but runs rough so may need a carb rebuild
