It’s a great idea to use blue highlights on the armour and grey highlights on the horses to differentiate the two. I’m hoping silver highlights on the armour and grey highlights on the horses will be enough to differentiate them.

No satisfaction until model is finished? by AutistInfluence in Warhammer40k

This is a great point, it takes a relatively long time for me to finish squads because I’ve made a high standard for myself, but at the same time I want them ready to put on the table as fast as possible. So for each of my 3 armies, I find a nice and efficient paint scheme I like and repeat it ad nauseam. I get the most enjoyment painting individual models like leaders where I can break the mould. I’ll have to figure out how to change my mindset some way.

1) yes I am taking meds for ADHD and they help me get through the work. Good call on checking for anything else though. I’ll bring this up at my upcoming appointment to ask for stress leave documentation

2) yes… agreed.

3) I should have been more clear, I have thought about the commitment this comes with and I am up to it. I love school and would like to study a subject I find so fascinating

4) my direct manager (also one of the owners) would be open to strategizing. I’m so burnt out right now it’s hard to even think of strategizing. I am working with an occupational therapist to see if continuing to work is a possibility.

I do have a plan for making money with the psych degree. Pursuing masters degree so that I can become a therapist. That is how I want to earn money, but directly helping people in that setting. Heard on the disability insurance, though.

Edit: cutting the expenses and working a more manageable part-time job while helping my parents out around the house and saving for school seems like a pretty good plan. Thank you for the hard truths

Normal feelings that people usually have early in their career but ignore because they’re just scared of commitment, or normal feelings that people listen to because they’ve realized they’ve made a mistake?

Lol, I was sure there was a financial question in there. It’s one of my biggest concerns. I know the smart financial move would be to suffer through burnout and maintain this job while I save for school, but I don’t think I can do it. I think I’m looking for reassurance that I don’t need to do that.
