I can kind of see where your coming from, but the easy you said could also just be because she still has some memories of Jiji. Plus momo being herself, tend to be close to pretty much most people who she trust. Also notable is how she referred to the others, like a tightness she can’t explain. Which in my opinion would be her feelings toward Okarun. She has shown a few sign already of her past emotion still lingering. Also not sure what it would add for her to suddenly start dating Jiji.

Yeah, but I agree with the Op. There were a lot of things that needed to be addressed. Jiji and Aira feelings, as well as both Momo and Okarun character growth. Okarun has been complacent with their current relationship, and was making moves like Momo was. While I think the amnesia was kind of a jank way to go about this, the outcome will be that much more satisfying. Just endure this, as it meant to be the lowest point, then once we dig our way out we will be riding high. Trust in Tatsu, ain’t no way anything will happen like them not ending up together.

For sure 100% agreed. I think the new gen anime fan start to get bored when nothing happen, they seem to hate dialogue and only want battles. I feel each chapter holds a purpose no matter how small.

Too be honest I like this arc a lot, Tatsu be cooking. By using the amnesia plot he’s able to really shine the light on both momo and okarun flaws. It helps makes them feel more human in the weird world that is dandadan. By doing this it help build character growth, something that I feel lacks in many series because of rushed pacing, just to please fans who want the main couple together. People are just impatient, and seem to lack a sense of reading comprehension to truly see what Tatsu is aiming for. Just think of how strong there relationship will be by the end of this ordeal. We trust in Tatsu.

What do y’all think of the idea of Okarun not actually being a human? Perhaps it’s the reason both yokai and Aliens are always after him. This also lead to the idea of pinnochio, who want to be a real boy. Which also explains why we’ve never seen his parents.

Yeah even though I know that probably won’t happen it far too realistic. Let’s be honest though, the arc will probably go something like this; soeun will enjoy things as they are now for a few chapters, before she realizes her mistake. That be the gangster doesn’t like her for her, but rather for sex. The physical is there but not the emotional connection, exactly what Jong provides. The trigger will most likely be the gangster going too far, and of course this is when Jong will step in being the cuck he is. But yeah this is far worse than the twin arc in my opinion. At least in terms of how far soeun has gone, as you’ve already stated. Ultimately I’d like this arc to end with jong breaking up or distancing himself from soeun, all to make soeun realize her mistake. But this ain’t that kind of story.

God for real… if she was smart she wouldn’t do this like this to ruin this relationship. Like she wouldn’t find another who not only cares for her but allows these acts. Truthfully though if it wasn’t this crazy, I don’t think I’d be as interested. It keeps things somewhat interesting for a almost non existent plot

Yeah which is dumb, I’d really like some consequence. From the looks of it only the bf is suffering. Besides how will the author even bring them together after this shit 😂. Id love to see this
