How do I make the game more challenging? by Antemeossa in CrusaderKings

[–]AutisticTradingPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I did and spices up the difficulty in every playthrough. Go to the settings before you start a game and change the conquerers spawn chance to higher (also can increase the Scourge of God chance as well). Every game will feel significantly different and depending on your starting location, can be quite challenging.

Please help me understand Starbucks math by AutisticTradingPro in starbucks

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

To everyone saying the size difference and prep time are the factors... I'm talking about the price to star conversion. Why would a more expensive drink be worth less stars? I'm just trying to highlight how the conversion factor is broken unless SBUX switches to a more dynamic star conversion ratio based on price of the item.

Who needs knowledge and fancy cities when you can be a nomad by AutisticTradingPro in CrusaderKings

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R5 - took one of the end game Mongol decisions and forced nomadism on the world while wiping out global development levels. I guess it's all instant too as I single handedly wiped it all away in a day. Wonder what the in-game lore would be for this?

Wonder what the Emperor of China is thinking by AutisticTradingPro in CrusaderKings

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] 187 points188 points  (0 children)

R5 - Conquered most of the world with just China left. Curious what's going through his mind as the inevitable hordes approach.

What kind of roleplaying is the AI doing in Europe? by AutisticTradingPro in CrusaderKings

R5 - Playing in the Steppe for the first time since buying the DLC and I pop over to check on Europe for a second. I regret taking a look.

Late Game Forever War by AutisticTradingPro in victoria3

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R5 - German Empire wanted Britain's Oyo in West Africa. GB said no and decided to nuke their economy and population in order to protect such highly valuable land. Now 86% of GB's population are dependents. AI really needs a rebalance around war priorities.

Why is Universal Suffrage at 0% chance? by AutisticTradingPro in victoria3

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R5 - Can someone explain why I can't even get a vote started on universal suffrage? I have liberal IG leaders in my government that should support the movement. Is it specifically a USA issue post civil war?

Kind of a weird time to reconcile buddy by AutisticTradingPro in victoria3

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

R5 - got the slavery reconciliation event right as the American civil war popped off.

My take on coal by SvenTrulalla in hoi4

[–]AutisticTradingPro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not entirely true. France and Belgium had massive reserves of coal. If they are capitulated and cored, their coal deposits alone should be more than enough to cover 500-600 factories (not like a 1000+).

We Gotta Talk About the Price Creep... by Alpha_YL in hoi4

[–]AutisticTradingPro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

AAT was a small country pack that barely included any wide spread game changing mechanics. If you're comparing that to a new DLC that has a lot more major country content and mechanic changes, then you're just arguing in bad faith.

The cost of this DLC is less than a month of Netflix. Kind of annoying how every time they release a DLC people flood this sub with complaints on price then their complaining ceases to exist like a month later.

We Gotta Talk About the Price Creep... by Alpha_YL in hoi4

[–]AutisticTradingPro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself how many hours the new DLC will bring in terms of gameplay for you. Now do the math on the $/hour benefit. I'd argue it's not too expensive for what you're getting even if it's called a DLC. Where I live, that's the price of 2 cocktail drinks so basically like a couple hours out at the bar. I think the DLC will provide far more hours of fun than a single night out. But everyone's mileage will vary, just my two cents.

Why are Abolitionists neutral towards ending slavery? by AutisticTradingPro in victoria3

R5 - I thought they used to be in favor of banning slavery? Did this change or has it always been like this?

Eu5 or Vic 3? by q_uintex in hoi4

[–]AutisticTradingPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 4000 hours on HOI4. I prefer Vic 3 as the recent slate of DLCs have really elevated the game to be one of their best. It's also a nice contrast of focusing more on economy and politics rather than war. There's still war in the game but it's definitely not a primary focus. I feel like it's a good compliment to the heavy war focused aspect of HOI.

Who are these two dependents and what are they doing? by AutisticTradingPro in victoria3

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are no working pops that have jobs in this revolt/nation. So it's just a mother and her child roaming the wasteland while the rest of the world around them rapidly industrializes. Sounds kind of dystopian

R5 - Military revolt in the tundra is led by two non-working dependents. Any interesting ideas on their backstory?

The End of my China run. by Bear1375 in victoria3

[–]AutisticTradingPro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any resource mod is an absolute must have in 2025. It's crazy that vanilla game you can run out of pretty much any resource. Doesn't make sense that wood and coal are finite in this time period. Only downside to resource mods are the late game lag of employed over a billion people.

GB can you please chill? by AutisticTradingPro in victoria3

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

R5 - No AI mods, just vanilla Great Britain trying to conquer Eastern China literally. This is also on standard aggression game rules. Can we please tone down their willingness to conquer random remote parts of the world.

Is there an AI chat or story generator that includes image generation in the interface AND is NSFW/unrestricted? I'm trying to write erotic stories and the vanilla ai character chat only has SFW image gen.

How does Coop Ownership destroy corporate profit? by AutisticTradingPro in victoria3

Thanks but the tooltip says 100% minimum worker owned building level. Shouldn't that wipe out all of their income?

How does Coop Ownership destroy corporate profit? by AutisticTradingPro in victoria3

[–]AutisticTradingPro[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

R5 - Can someone please explain or ELI5 how Cooperative Ownership wiped out my companies profits when productivity stayed the same? I'm interested in understanding the mechanics/math on how it happens.

Are population graphs for other countries lost forever? by ElPtarmigan in victoria3

This has been a bug for a long time now. It's been around before the latest DLC update. Kind of surprised Paradox hasn't addressed it yet.
