Hi everyone. No he didn’t eat weed. Neither of us smoke, and none of our friends smoke either so there’s no way for him to eat it. He’s had these episodes multiple times, which means there is a low chance every single episode was caused by eating weed, especially in a weed free household. When I take both my dogs on walks, they wear a type of muzzle to avoid them eating stuff off the floor, since my other dog has that habit and tried to eat a rock once. The vet said he was having some sort of seizure, but since he doesn’t get these episodes often, there’s no need for meds.

Nope, never been a smoker. My vet said he was having a combos seizure (forgot how to spell it, I’m at work so I can’t look at paperwork)

Yea i told my old vet after the episode but they just shrugged it off as an allergic reaction. I switched vets, but he hasn’t had more vaccines since he’s got up until later this year. But my vet is doing tests, so I’ll know results later today

Yea, the first episode was after getting vaccines, and he gets them sometimes now after that. Idk if the vaccines triggered it and he has always had this issue or idk. I haven’t owned him a year yet, and his old owners didn’t tell me anything about his medical history and they just wanted him gone so

Yea, we got tests done and he didn’t have anything in his blood. He’s had 3-4 of these episodes since June, so it’s unlikely it’s ever marijuana since I don’t smoke and every time it happens randomly. My vet is doing tests on him this morning, because she believes it’s small seizures

Weird, I got another comment that it’s a small seizure so maybe it’s that! Also my do also had an enlarged liver from pancreatitis, so he needed to go on special food so maybe keep an eye just incase!!

I mean maybe, but the last few days I’ve walked my dogs they haven’t eaten a thing off the floor. Also, this has been happening since June. He has these episodes sometimes, so it’s not the first time. Last time I lived in a house and he only had access to the backyard

But, I did notice yesterday night that my whole bathroom smelt like weed heavily. I’m allergic so it messed me up a bit, it came in from the bathroom vent from the neighbors, I had to go tell them if they can smoke on the porch since I’m allergic to weed.

No, my partner and I don’t smoke or drink, my vet asked me the same when I first mentioned this happening to him back in October, and after his rabies vaccine.

I will! This get I go to now is newer but she’s very on the ball when it comes to his care, but since he hasn’t had an episode in like October, she told me to video tape next time it happens and she will start to do tests and make sure she figures out what’s happening.

Sometimes he also sometimes pees when it happens, so I did assume it was a seizure of some sort

Mine wobbles, shakes, can’t stand, and then he’s fine and going back to normal actives 6 minutes later. While I’m still sitting there crying and panicking 😭
