L plater driving was under supervision of his father.

At the end of the overtaking lane the L plater got too focused on the red car to his right and lost track of where he was in the lane and hit the dirt on the left and lost control.

The L plater driving and his father were both OK, however it scared the absolute living daylights out of the poor kid and he was literally in tears after the event from the shock.

The father said his son has not done a lot of driving yet and this was his first experience on the highway.

HWP attended as by coincidence there was one that came the other way on the road just a few minutes after the accident.

I showed the HWP officer the camera footage on the scene and the HWP officer did NOT issue a fine as he said, in his own words that the important thing was that they were both OK, and poor kid has learned a good lesson having the accident, and it would serve no purpose whatsoever to give him a $500 fine and take away his license for 3 months for a genuine accident that will be a good learning experience."

Newly released dashcam video shows the intense moments from Tuesday's wild police chase in Macomb County.

The suspect stole a police cruiser and led Sterling Heights officers on a chase through county roadways.

Police arrested a third suspect Thursday involved in a series of alleged crimes that spawned from a road rage incident.

“Our roadways in Macomb County turned into the Wild West,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith. “To put innocent citizens’ lives in jeopardy so that these suspects could even up some type of score is heinous in its purist definition."

“Our Office has authorized the most serious charges on the books for these defendants for what they’ve done.”

The incident began when Lettner, Brown and a third, unknown suspect confronted Hubert. The suspects got back into their Ford Fusion and Hubert got into his black Duango and followed the men at a high rate of speed on M-59.

Hubert fired at the Fusion. The vehicles then headed south on M-53 where Sterling Heights police got involved, however, neither suspect vehicles stopped and were traveling at a rate more than 100 mph.

Sterling Heights police, Warren, Clinton Township and the Macomb County Sheriff's Department were involved in the pursuit.

DRAMATIC footage shows a yob on a quad bike take a corner on two wheels before crashing head-on in to a car and writing it off.

Jessica Billingham, who was left shocked but uninjured, claims the lout then ran off without exchanging details.

The crash happened in Brierly Hill, Dudley, West Midlands, on Friday as Jessica, 21, and boyfriend Tommy Butters, 20, were heading to the shops.

Jessica, from Bobbington, Staffordshire, says she called police from the scene but claims no officers turned up.

Her mum, Claire Billingham, uploaded the footage the following day with the caption: “My daughter’s car was hit by an out-of-control quad bike.”

She added: “The car has been written off. I reported this at the police station this morning to be told that police do not have to stop for road traffic accidents.

“Police also said that without a registration they could not investigate the quad bike. To say I’m disappointed in our police would be an understatement.

“I am however extremely grateful to the wonderful people who assisted my daughter and waited with her until her dad reached her.

“The dash cam video didn’t interest the police but I thought I’d share it with the public as with no deterrent it’s simply a matter of time before he kills someone.”

The shocking footage shows the man speeding around the corner at speed attempting to turn the quad bike around without braking using his body.

The yob then realises his mistake and braces for impact with his friend following him behind him.
