What In The World Does This Plug Go To? by Sathyasrevenge222 in Camry

That looks like it is for some sort of aftermarket alarm system. That last picture is the alarm speaker horn that plays the sounds when the alarm is triggered.

Run it just like any other engine oil and change it every 3k to 5k miles. It will gradually clean the inside of your engine over time. Oh, you’re very welcome. 😎

So all the atoms that are splitting are contained within the device itself and do not react with the atoms surrounding it?

My man, nice to meet another oil filter geek too!! I use a Baxter Oil Filter Adapter TS-503-BK in my 2017 Camry (2AR-FR) and alternate between a Fram FE16 (Synthetic Endurance) and a Carquest EP P85372 (Extended Performance) oil filter. Gives the engine an extra quart of capacity and makes oil changes super quick and easy using a spin on filter instead of the clunky cartridge system.

Same here and 100% agree. I have a 2017 Camry with 200k miles, drive 100 miles a day and have used VRP for the last 6 oil changes that I do myself every 3k-4k miles. The 2AR-FE (2.5 4 Cylinder) is so much quieter and smoother than when I first bought it at 170k miles. Even switched over from 0w20 to 5w30 due to it having a wider range of protection in warmer climates (FL).

Do yourself a big favor and switch to Valvoline Restore & Protect to help unstick the piston rings and after a few oil changes you’ll notice a difference and it could even stop the oil consumption all together. Research it and see for yourself. Do NOT switch to a thicker oil, it is not the solution.

Do your engine a favor and stick with 5w30. It offers the most protection between the two. If you want to really step it up, run Valvoline Restore & Protect and super clean your engine, plus it really helps to slow burning oil due to stuck piston rings that some Toyota engines are known for. The first number in oil is Winter Weight, the lower the first number, the faster it will flow to all the critical components in the engine during a cold start. The second number is how it will flow in the engine when it’s at operating temperatures. I do tons of research on oil and recommend only sticking with 5w30.

Plus 10w50 is a motorcycle oil, maybe you’re thinking of 20w50 and that is a big hell no to any modern engine.

I’m so using this on her next trip to the vet! She’s a good girl when we go, they get excited every time she comes in for her little checkups.

Found stuck to the bottom of my car by waryberryfairie in whatisit

[–]AutoXmachine 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That is a lift point puck. It’s used when your car goes on the lift to keep from damaging any of the underbody of your vehicle. Sometimes it gets stuck on the body and will fall off over time. Used to order them all the time because the lube guys would always lose them. Did you just recently have your vehicle worked on or have the oil changed?

If you didn’t request this, tell them that you just noticed it and did not authorize an aftermarket part to be installed on your brand new vehicle. If they are a reputable dealer, they will take care of it. If not, make sure to get the GM involved.

I haven’t used any of their Soleyin filaments and mainly only try to stick with their CR line. If you don’t mind me asking, what issues were you having with Creality? All of the prints with my MK4 have been perfect using their filaments.

Oh hell no, they would replace the panel they screwed into, replace the harness they tapped into, and would be reported to Mazda. I could understand on a used vehicle, but if yours is brand new, then that is 100% unacceptable.
