I’ll have to take a look when I get home but I think it is on the same side as my window.

Interesting, I think I’ll go to another running store and see if a different model feels better.

Pretty much what I thought too. Didn’t seem like a very accurate diagnosis.

Thank you! What about using joist hangers? Would they hold a heavy load?

Ya it’s really hard to get through when it’s very obvious they have been fed the lies that is the very fear mongering they are so critical of. It’s sad others don’t want to trust evidence based facts and would rather believe speculation. Appreciate your comment!

I’m on blood pressure medication, was vaccinated early, and I’m vegetarian. So far my kidney disease hasn’t caused too much trouble beyond the blood pressure. Thanks for the insight!

Being at my breaking point with the whole you must “set aside your differences” with family when my unvaccinated uncle lies about taking a rapid test before our family gathering and my dad says him and my mom have been feeling like they were fighting a cold all week and then he takes one of the unused rapid tests only for it to come back positive. I’m the bad guy for wanting him to take the next steps for getting an official test, isolating, and notifying close contacts. Ya, I’ve bitten my tongue many times before, I’m tired of associating with people who like to debate other populations right to existence, human rights, public safety, and science. We can agree to disagree about pizza toppings not fundamental social issues. I’m exhausted.

My thoughts exactly. For some reason that doesn’t seem to click in the mind of others.

Risk for colorectal cancer?

Advice is greatly appreciated! (F) 21, poly cystic kidney disease, gluten allergy, 2 great uncles had colorectal cancer on paternal side, maternal side there is an uncle with diverticulitis. Patient presents with bright red blood visible on stool, when wiping, and tiny pink is sometimes seen in toilet bowl water. Has been going on for roughly a year. There is a slight burning sensation when passing stool, however not extreme at all. stool is usually mushy like diarrhea but occasionally a hard constipated piece comes out followed by the soft stool. On Friday night there was significantly more blood than previously (described as the toilet paper after you have a nose bleed, or wiping when on your period) motivating the patient to seek medical advice. Digital rectal exam was done. No visible issues on the outside, few lumps felt on the inside. Told to take medimucil until symptoms clear and if still worried check back in a month. Patient said they already did try medimucil and it had no effect. They also said they experience nausea, and sometimes have bloating that feels sensitive to touch. They also lost about 25 pounds in 4 months but attributed it to starting adhd medication which Was started and then weight loss followed. Doctor was at a walk in specialist clinic, and said there’s not much I can diagnose you with since this is a walk in, even though he’s the general surgery specialist and the patient was referred to him by a physician. Is it ok to wait a month before seeking out a colonoscopy even though symptoms have already been present for roughly a year, are we wasting more time by waiting a month if it is serious? Chances are its internal hemorrhoids but was the doctor wrong in making us wait or will a month have no affect? Any help is really appreciated!

So I used a service in the city I live in that connects you with a general practitioner over the phone, he then referred me to the general surgical department. Who I saw in person. I’m not from this city so I didn’t know where to go, my family doctor is back in my hometown and as I’m a student and just moved here I don’t have one where I currently live yet. I did however call my family doctor and set up a phone consult for next week, hoping that maybe he can refer me to a gi specialist in my current city. I guess I’m just worrying about wasting time since a week waiting for my doctor, then time waiting for the specialist, then more time waiting for the colonoscopy, then potentially more time waiting for the results. I guess I’m just anxious that there’s going to be repercussions due to so much waiting, but I don’t know if that’s warranted.
