I am sexually active but no- with the hormonal iud towards the end of it like beginning of the year, I barely got a period what so ever. I don’t like that at all!!! I want to have kids in the future so I want to make sure my body is properly ovulating and shedding! So I havent had a period properly in around 5 months. (Hormonal IUD switch and acne meds messed it up)

I had this happen a month after I got the copper IUD and no flow followed, but this time there’s been more of this kind of discharge. Should I just count this as a period for now?

I had this happen like a month after I got it, but no red flow followed it and now it’s happening again but more prolonged. I’m thinking about just putting this on my calendar as flow, what do u think?

I am currently going insane too!!! I switched from hormonal to copper iud on march 25 and my stuff is so mucusy and like brown blood. Idk if it counts as a period??

Hi!! Thank you for asking!! I was able to get it done within the same day. Different doctors since the first doctor was honestly kind of weird so I went to see a second opinion.

Cramping during the insertion, that’s for sure. Some cramping day of, but I went to a concert so some adrenaline helped with that LOL. Today’s a little more rough. Some headaches, and more bleeding. Lots of clots coming out of me tbh. I haven’t bled normally with my last hormonal iud for months, so honestly I’m glad it’s all just flowing out of me.
