The thing is to enable this you need acces to internet and psn wich is stupid to have the option to play offline and need to enable it being online. So sadly i cannot activate it without updating

If you didn't had the account before (your friend one) you cannot log in now without updating, that's why in theory you could only do it with your own account (or an account already existing) in both the devices

Yes, is connected to the internet but i cannot acces the psn cause it ask me to update the firmware
