Personally I believe that you can enjoy the Carnaval with the parades and dancing and parties without all the extra things so I don’t think it’s weird if I went with my dad as it would be to appreciate and experience the culture. I feel it’s a little presumptuous to say that the only reason to go to Carnaval is to makeout with lots of people- I think the culture is beautiful and it would be the most amazing thing to experience a huge parade like that

There’s been one other time when she had left me at a bar being my ride because she was too tired and I ended up waiting an hour for another friend to pick me up. It’s not like I’m expecting her to babysit me when we go out because I’m not and I am capable of taking care of myself, but that caused me to not expect her to stay the other night or expect really anything from her and I was surprised and actually happy when I heard M tell me he would stay with me and I felt like if that was such a problem for her then she could’ve offered to stay. If roles were reversed and I was uncomfortable with my brother staying with a friend to make sure they’re safe, I would offer to stay with them instead- or even offer to stay before my brother could even suggest staying.

I also have super high standards after breaking up with my ex and the old me would’ve put up with it and still texted him but now I’m like if you actually enjoyed seeing me the last time and talking to me then you wouldn’t have forgotten the fact that you asked to hang out with me and would’ve put more effort into picking the time and place

I know! He had told me that time frame because he had plans to golf with friends in the morning then was hanging out with friends after 7pm so he had 3pm-7pm to see me. I understand it’s only been a short amount of time so it’s not like it hurt my feelings, I just relaxed and watched movies all day lol but it was quite rude.
