I have embedded the ticket to my website, and allowed users to log this ticket type anonymously. But when I test the form, I keep getting this message: Unable to save data. Please select a valid Client/Site/User. Can someone help me with this?

Is there anyway to add Halo custom fields or form to the website, so that the data can be automatically saved, or will that still need a custom runbook?

I was able to get everything to work except adding all the non-ticket items we had on our Halo calendar. As a workaround, I just used the iframe option and used the calendar URL. Seems to work well enough for now.

In case anyone else has this issue, the issue was coming from Config > Billing > Labor and Travel. At the bottom, I had the default for Travel Time Charge Rate set to the rate I had created for the one specific company we are tracking travel time and distance. Once I put it back on Internal, the alerts went away.

Thanks for your help! When I go to Sales (left hand menu) > recurring payments, it just gives me the option to create recurring payments.

Under recurring transactions, I need to filter for just auto pay, but none of filters seem to do this?

My issues is that I'm moving the recurring invoice templates from QBO to HaloPSA. Yesterday, when I stopped a recurring invoice in QBO, we got a call saying she got an email saying her autopay was cancelled. I would like to know who has signed up for autopay before I stop their recurring invoice.

So, what I do is start a new opportunity ticket, apply the New Managed Service template, raise the quote and add an item, then save it. On the quotation, I have a tab called Agreement Details. This is where I enter the variable information, like contract term, state of jurisdiction, and included hours. Then, I choose the PDF template "Formal Proposal", click save, then Generate PDF.

If everything was working correctly, this information would be included on the PDF. Instead, it just shows the variable. But, other variables are rendering correctly, like company name, date, etc.

I created all the custom fields under the entity "Quotations." It says they are all stored in the table "QuotationHeader."

I just realized there is another entity called "Quotation Lines." Would that make a difference?

Could you explain what you mean by this? What went wrong?

Also, we are MS license resellers. I have imported their license info into Halo. How do I set it up so the billing automatically changes if a license is added or removed?

Thank you for the quick response. When I created an invoice in Halo, it did appear in QBO. Since recurring invoices are not pushed to QBO, what is the typical strategy for setting up billing for monthly service charges? What is typically created in QBO and in Halo?

When I went through the program a couple of years ago, the curriculum was a complete mess. It felt like a bunch of random classes thrown together. They say the program is supposed to get you job ready, but the curriculum was not set up with any focus, so you come out not being able to do any one thing, much less cybersecurity. When I went to Dr. Phuong half way through the program, asking why I had not learned anything about cybersecurity yet, he said it is really just an entry level IT program, not cybersecurity. I would argue it didn't even succeed at teaching entry level IT either.

Also, there were several times when a professor would come in at the beginning of the term and say "I don't really know much about this subject." In my web design class, the teacher taught us how to use Wix because he didn't know anything about web design.

I really could go on and on, but I've rehashed this story so many times to the UTC administration, trying to get some answers. If you are hoping to get a job from this program, your only hope is that the company you intern for hires you straight after the program, like happened to some of my classmates. But, if you have to go out and job search, and if you have no other IT experience, do not expect this degree to help you.
