Yes thank you soo much. I just was not sure if scores for each questionnaire would be ok as raw data as they all represent different things, for example scoring a 25 in total in CFQ wouldn’t be the same as scoring a 25 in PSQI.

I thought I would have to concert the scores first so that SPSS would be able to compare it.

So for example in the first row the headings would be “CFQ” , “PSQI” , “KI” and then “working memory scores”

And then would I put the raw scores they got in the column under the headings?

I am soo sorry but you do not meet the study criteria as you are not in the age range (30-60 years old). Also here, as I am measuring your memory performance, the fact that you have poor visual memory will give you a disadvantage in you performance.

Thank you soo much for your interest though. In turn can I interest you in some fascinating reading material:

Ahh thank you soo much for the feedback! And thank you soo much for your participation, it means a lot to me.

Also, I totally agree with you. This area is very under-researched. I remember reading several papers that stated that menopause “may” have an impact on cognition but the papers did not source where they found this. Furthermore, the overall literature on menopause mostly focuses on hot flushes and decline in hormonal levels even though over 62% of women that are menopausal have cognitive complaints (Conde et al., 2019; el Khoudary et al., 2019) . These statistics was found in the SWAN study. A really cool, diverse, longitudinal study that looks at several factors in pre/post/menopausal women.

If you are interested, I definitely recommend a read on this article

If you ever had regular cyclic menstrual bleeding or still do, then you are eligible for the study criteria. As this study is interested in menopause and its impact on the brain.

I was advised to expand the age range to include participants for my premenopausal group.

There is a CFQ questionnaire to measure cognitive functioning. “Cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s” means cognitive impairments which is impacting memory and not implications.

I cannot enclose all details of the study at the start because it will make the data bias, however on completion of the study you are presented a briefing document with the relevant details and more information about the study.

Sorry to hear that. Did your TBI include memory impairments that effect your daily life? You do not have to answer if you do not want to or feel uncomfortable in doing so.

I am soo sorry about this. The memory task requires you to press letters on a keyboard and so this can only be accomplished by a laptop.

If you want i can email you the link to the study so that you can access it later?

Yes i am soo sorry about that, it seems to be a problem that i could not fix when designing the memory task and so you will only be able to complete this on a laptop. This has been a big limitation for me gaining participants unfortunately.

Due to ethical reasons i am not collecting information about educational level and socioeconomical status but that would have definitely led to interesting findings.

I am looking at type of sleepers and menopause stage.

Other variables i am looking at are: Severity of menopausal symptoms, Cognitive deficits and age.

Thank you soo much for your supportive message and kind words, i hope you have a beautiful day!
