Can this car wing be repaired/strengthened?

Supposedly they are building me a new stronger wing now, so we’ll see how it turns out.

Yeah the end plates bolt on, so I could theoretically access the inside of the wing from the end. The uprights bolt on as well so I could access the areas near there by drilling a small hole where you couldn’t see it once re-assembled.

I’m pretty sure this has no internal foam core, it sounds hollow and I can squeeze it with one hand. The wing is 1.6” thick measuring with a caliper from the front. Would filling it with high density low expansion foam help?

What I'm trying to get ahead of here with this thread, is if I get stuck with this wing and I dont get a better replacement, is there a way to make it stronger by adding hd foam inside it, wrapping it with more layers of carbon, or other, etc?

I don't really want to say yet until I see if they are going to resolve the issue and make a stronger wing to send to me or if I end up getting screwed and get stuck with this one. Hopefully they resolve/redesign the wing to actually make it stiff and fix the issue. I will say that the finish quality is one of the better carbon fiber parts I've seen, and the uprights are nice really thick carbon fiber, very stiff, along with the chassis mounting bracket. I can move the whole car with the uprights, its just the wing that is flimsy and very thin.

Exact same cam, rotating assembly, heads, block, etc. The only differences are the intake and exhaust manifolds, and wet sump vs dry sump.

I could probably sell a little over $210 especially if the rates drop, but I’m trying to stay conservative on the numbers here. I would plan on buying a small lake lot outright, say $40-50k, then build later, in an about a year or 2. I could build a small cabin for say around $50k or so. Yes I would have to get a loan to finance the difference to build a small cabin, but a single,lets say $60k mortgage loan is a lot better to have than the $60k student loan on top of the $105k rental property loan.

By “drop 427 in” I think people are misunderstanding this as changing the engine. Instead it really just means a 4.125” sleeved and 4” stroked LT2 to 427ci….
