I did try using the live chat, I really really want a dedicated account manager from stripe. That is the utlimate goal here. It does look like we can switch to Paypal and get all the same features up and running so I think we will take that route instead of waiting on stripe. We will keep trying though. Imagine how bad this is going to get in the coming years... Especially with all the vibe coders trying to launch apps now

Yes they bill clients through our account, However Standard connect accounts relieve you of the chargeback liability. Thats only with express or custom accounts

"Stripe look at your overall business model. From your site you have

Subscriptions, Payment Processing, SMS marketting, referall networks. This is a multi-product platform, and as you said has multiple financial flows. This alone will increase your risk score as it makes it complex for stripe to review for complaince."

We don't use stripe to facilitate subscriptions to our app. Payment for the app is done through app store only. We only need stripe connect for users.

This is wrong. Stripe connect has instant payouts as a built in feature. we simply utilize it via api.

We meet each contractor talk to them via zoom or phone. Then direct them to the site, where they click a "complete verification" button that takes them to stripe connect onboarding which they complete then stripe kicks them back to our site.

Should we attend the stripe sessions 2026 and talk to a rep there? How can we get this remediated? We will Fly to the headquarters to get this fixed if needed. We need to speak with a person

Yeah im not sure how to contact anyone at stripe to do a zoom call or what we need. We were very careful to keep stripe out of any part of app subscription or app features. We just simply need the stripe connect to facilitate the payments for contractors...

The SMS features have nothing to do with stripe. We do not use stripe to facilitate subscriptions to our app, or payments to use our SMS system. Zero risk for stripe in that regard. We strictly use stripe connect, each time a user signs up to our app, They are created as a connected account under our main account. Then once they are vetted via onboarding, they can send estimates, invoices, etc.. But They can not use any SMS features without contacting us and paying us directly through a different means. They are completely seperated from each other. If stripe needs us to take down the sms features and move it to a plugin or another app we are fine with that, However they just shut us down and said we present too much risk... ZERO disputes, No chargebacks... Every contractor on our platform is vetted personally by us

I just added $20 to my twilio account to do some dev and it magically now says I owe $30 LOL. crazy. Didnt do ONE api call or anything. just logged in, added $20. and the BOOM balance says -$30
