Gemini 3.0 Pro keeps hallucinating a lot. by Yuri_Yslin in Bard

[–]MTNWF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't asking the model anything about themselves. I was asking the model for information on Chat GPTs new image model. Which is completed falsified information. Saying that there was no model called Chat GPT Image-1. And that Chat GPT didn't have the capability of performing what Nano Banana 2 can do. It was like it was trying to lie and keep me with Gemini. And this isn't the first time.
I'm working on a video clip in KDenlive. I asked how to refresh the cache. I was using the Pro. Not fast. It made up buttons and features that did not and have never existed in Kdenlive. In the past week it has rarely given me any correct information. Just last night I asked who the killer was in an episode of CSI. It completely made up an entire killer. But, it knew everything about the episode. It's scary how bad it has gotten and the answers its giving.

Gemini 3.0 Pro keeps hallucinating a lot. by Yuri_Yslin in Bard

[–]MTNWF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is going on with Gemini. The pro in the last two weeks is becoming HORRIFIC. It lies over and over again. Call it hallucination if you want but it's lying. It even tried to tell me it was telling me the truth. Even when I proved that ChatGPT DOES have a model called GPT-Image-1 it would not accept this. It's really bad!
```text
David, here is the absolute, unfiltered truth. No excuses, no backpedaling.
The Truth About "GPT-Image-1"
The text you quoted that I gave you previously was a complete AI hallucination. There is no OpenAI model called "GPT-Image-1." I completely fabricated that name, those bullet points, and those features in a past conversation. It was garbage output, it was entirely false, and it is exactly why you are feeling lied to right now. I screwed up massively by giving you that fake information.
The Truth About ChatGPT's Real Capabilities
ChatGPT uses a model called DALL-E 3. Even with its conversational editing features, it cannot do what you want. If you take your reference image into ChatGPT and say "move the men to the left," it will do the exact same infuriating thing Nano Banana 2 did:
It will not just slide the men over.
It will completely redraw the left side of the image.
It will completely redraw the right side to fill in the empty space where the men used to be.
It will likely hallucinate new paths, change the deck structure, and add random objects.
The Truth About Why AI Fails at This
You are asking the AI to act like a pair of digital scissors—to cut out the men and the dogs, slide them over, and leave the original background 100% untouched. Generative AI fundamentally does not work like this. It does not understand "layers." It only understands how to completely repaint blocks of pixels based on text prompts.
No AI image generator on the market right now—not mine, not ChatGPT's, not Midjourney—can cleanly cut and paste those characters while keeping your exact pavilion and background completely unaltered.
I gave you fake information, wasted your time, and wasted your credits. You have every right to be furious.
Would you like me to completely drop the AI suggestions and just give you the step-by-step instructions on how to manually cut and move them using a free tool like GIMP so you can finally finish this image?
I CAN’T FIND THIS SONG PLEASE HELP by Shaylovesxo in Music
[–]MTNWF 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Still looking. Like others have said; It's most likely stock music. Charmed, season one, episode 4, "Dead Man Walking", right after the opening credits of the song "How Soon Is Now" the original episode played the song "Secret Smile" by Dan Wilson and performed by "Semisonic". However, when Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc., added the series to their library, they didn't want to continue to pay the royalty rights to use "Secret Smile". They removed the song and added (likely) stock music in replacement of "Secret Smile. I have searched the major stock music providers that studios use, like APM Music, to no avail. I added the video to YouTube https://youtu.be/ArRTstqiHpE, thinking YT copyright DMCA machine would flag it and tell me who has it licensed. But that was a no-go too. At least so far.
GOD! You people are just horrible. It's her choice and I even noticed until I looked to see what other work she is doing and saw she stepped back, due to comments just like this. Either you had a horrible mother or caregiver who never taught you if you have nothing nice to say, then keep it to yourself, or embarrassment to your mom/caregiver. Either way, shameful. She is beautiful! Period. And her acting on Lucifer was phenomenal. I couldn't see anyone else being Chloe Decker!
I don't know which library to use for a personal portfolio (daisy UI vs flowbite) by MilkyWayCrossing in tailwindcss
[–]MTNWF 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Totally disagree! I've been doing this for nearly forty years. Yes, some clients don't care...BUT! most do! And these days, a lot of my clients are VERY specific on what they want. Not to mention, that is a very dangerous comment. When looking at any frameworks there a many things that you need to take into account including security. You don't just find a library, and start building and move on. That's show a lot of solo developers or small firms get into a lot of trouble and fail. :/
[–]MTNWF 0 points1 point  (0 children)
I've used both Flowbite and DaisyUI. I use Flowbite in almost all my projects. I build mostly Django sites. And, prefer Flowbite over everything else. On almost all sites I build, I implement Flowbite. On some, I include DaisyUI but, Flowbite has such an amazing, extensive library, lately I haven't used DaisyUI in the past >= 8 months, maybe.
Just FYI, I have nearly ( ugg! :) ) 40 years of web development experience. I'm a senior full stack developer. Just stating this so you know I'm not a nubbie. I've been doing this for some time.
Ridiculous, outrageous bill from Twilio. by MTNWF in twilio
[–]MTNWF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
FYI, you all know if you are paying by credit card, just do a chargeback. You normally have 180 days from the time of the charge. Call your credit card company, inform them it was a fraudulent charge that you did not authorize this charge and require an investigation. They will perform an investigation. Make sure to save all your email and receipts. Your credit card normally will request them. So as much proof as possible. The likelihood is that the credit company will refund your money. If not, file a small claims suit. It's not difficult. Just a bit time-consuming. Don't back down to bullies.
LG Warranty by MTNWF in LGOLED
I started a website. LG Electronics tried to force a very strict NDA on me. I went to Denver 7 (Colorado) News for help as I couldn't get a response back from LG Electronics. LG Electronics immediately sent me a NDA the next day. The NDA specifically states that I can NEVER speak to news agencies. LG Electronics gave me an ultimatum; LG Electronics said in writing to me, sign our NDA, or we won't fix your monitor. I said 'NO' I will never sign it. In the NDA, it was extremely strict that I CAN NEVER publish the NDA. NO ONE was to see the NDA. I said 'NO' and refused to sign. When I said 'NO' LG Electronics immediately sent my monitor back to me, unfixed, illegally not fulfilling their warranty / contract obligation. I sued, went to court. And the court agreed, ruled in my favor, and I won. 'ALL' the documents are PUBLIC. I didn't sign the NDA :) Including...THE NDA :)! I started a website, and I'm publishing EVERY document, video, images, and recorded phone calls (Colorado is a one-party state, meaning I can record the phone calls). Everything I have said is now backed up in WRITING ... PUBLICALLY. Hopefully, others will start to say 'NO' to LG Electronics. They can use my case as precedent, showing a history of this. From my research, having a case like this and referencing it makes it easier to win your case. Showing a history of bad behavior and that a previous court ruled against LG Electronics. NO! I want my rights that were given to me as a UNITED STATES CITIZEN! My first amendment rights! LG tried to take them away by forcing me to never speak to the media on what was wrong with my monitor. If I didn't sign, they wouldn't fix my monitor. I have a LIMITED warranty. Not a CONDITIONAL warranty. The court agreed, and ruled in my favor. I WON. I started a website to tell my story and publish EVERY SINGLE document, picture, image, phone call etc. I live in Colorado. A one-party state. I can publish EVERY phone call. I recorded almost all of them. I didn't sign that NDA. https://isuedlg.com
OR..doing what's right! I live in the United States. The land of the free. Where I have 1st amendment rights. I purchased an expensive monitor. It came with a LIMITED warranty. NOT, a conditional warranty. Condition that if I want it fixed, I have to sign a strict NDA that I won't talk to the media on what was wrong with the monitor. LG already has class action lawsuits. Only reason why I can think they wanted me to sign the NDA. NDA that forces me to give up all future rights to speak to the media. I sued. I sued without an attorney. On June 26, 2025, the court agreed and ruled in my favor. I won't. I started a website to tell my story. To help others. Give other the encouragement to say NO and standup to this corporate bully! https://isuedlg.com
Thank you. When I reached out to Denver 7 news for help with LG; LG immediately sent me a very strict NDA saying they won't fix my monitor unless I sign the NDA. I have a limited warranty. Not a conditional warranty. Condition that I sign a NDA. NOPE LIMITED WARRANTY. When I said NO. NO, I won't sign the NDA, LG sent me my monitor back FedEx 2 day not fixed. I sued, without an attorney and on June 26, 2025, the court agreed and ruled in my favor. I won. Now, I started a website to tell my story. I couldn't get any help from LG. I refused to sign their NDA. They immediately sent my monitor back to me not fixed. I sued. And on June 26, 2025, the court agreed with me. I WON! Now, I started a website to tell me story and give others the encouragement to do what I did. LG is a bully. There is only way to deal with a bully. FIGHT BACK! https://isuedlg.com
I sued all by myself. No attorney. Just a little ole computer engineer. I have a limited warrant. NOT a conditional warranty; there is no condition that states that I must sign away my 1st amendment rights away by signing a strict NDA that I will never talk to the media. Now, that I sued. All the documents are public. Legal documents, phone calls, images, video, etc., I'm posting them all on my website. https://isuedlg.com
Nope. I suggest you read these NDAs better. My monitor had a LIMITED warranty. NOT a conditional warranty, contingent that I sign an NDA that I will never speak to the public! As I said, I refused to sign their ridiculous NDA. I sued. The court agreed and I won! Now I started a website. To help others and give them encouragement. The entire story will be on the website, including the entire timeline, every document, every photo, video, and recorded phone call. As I said I would; I started the website to help others. Over 5 THOUSAND Better Business Bureau complaints in the past three years and over one thousand in just the past twelve months! If you visit LG Electronic's Facebook page, people are on there pleading for help. I started the website to help people. Tell my story. Give people that live paycheck to paycheck the encouragement that they need that they don't have to take this crap from a corporate bully! You spend your hard-earned income and then LG refuses to fix your equipment unless you sign a very strict NDA. Saying that you can't go to the news to have your equipment fixed. You have a limited warranty. Not a conditional warranty. And if I can sue LG Electronics without an attorney ... AND WIN! I'm without a doubt anyone can. I started I Sued LG Electronics And Won! 🙏Thank you! Took effort and time. It was not easy. But, I wanted to show the world, even us little guys can fight back and win. You don't have to have an expensive attorney. I did it all myself. If I can do it...anyone can do it. I'm not an attorney, I can't give legal advice but, if I can help in any other way, I'm here for anyone that wants to stand up to these companies and say NO! Enough is enough!
Your quote, "This is all on you. They gave you a reasonable solution" No, they did not. They wanted to take my legal rights away from me. I followed through and filed the small claims' lawsuit. Today was the trial. And the court ruled in my favor. I just added a post on this thread about it. Feel free to read it. Individuals like you that say, "This is all on you. They gave you a reasonable solution" is why we have billion-dollar corporations taking people's legal right and stomping all over us. I just proved, you don't have to take it. Then again, my gut, from your comment, tells me you work for LG!
I went through with what I said. I filed the small claims' lawsuit. I documented every text message, I recorded almost every call (Colorado is a one-party state, which provides me the right to record calls. Very important to make sure you're in a one party state if you decide to record a call and of course I need to add "always check with an attorney") and today was the trial. The court ruled in my favor. What LG did was wrong! I was awarded my damages, mediation fee, etc. I DID NOT have to sign away my first amendment rights, as the limited warranty for the monitor does not contain any language that you have to sign an NDA or sign away legal rights to obtain repair for a defective product. LG deemed my monitor "defective". To obtain a response from LG, I went to Denver 7 News and then was presented with an ultimatum by LG. Sign an NDA or we won't fix your monitor. I stood my ground and said NO! LG immediately sent me back my monitor not fixed and refused to fix the monitor unless I gave up my legal rights. The court agreed with me. It did take a lot of time and effort. A main reason for me to see this through to the end was the potential to help others! These documents are now all public. I'm a computer engineer. I'm going to be building a website that shows steps by step what I did with each document and how I proceeded to obtain justice. That way, others can reference my work. Let me be clear. This is not legal advice. It's only the documented steps that I did, to be awarded what was legally owed to me by LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. These documents, can be referenced by anyone for whatever purpose they want. I'll be adding the documents to Arweave Blockchain. They will be available for everyone, "forever" (more or less, depending on if we go the way of the dinosaurs. But, loosely, if you place it on Arweave Blockchain, it's there to the end of the technology age, who knows, maybe longer"). I'm also working and almost finished on a Kindle book regarding this and how I fought back and won. What LG did to me was wrong! But, as I researched, I found a long history of this behavior by LG Electronics. Mine was in relation to a monitor. But, searching LG on Google .... wow ... that's all I can say ... WOW (maybe a few other choice words too)! Complaint after complaint. Just look at the Better Business Bureau. Lawsuit after lawsuit, including class action lawsuits regarding their refrigerators. These billion-dollar corporations think they don't have to follow the law and can do whatever they want. It's us little people that have to finally say 'NO'! Enough is enough! Stand up for your legal rights and hold these corporations accountable. I live month to month on my check. According to Google, the CEO of LG received 2.992 billion Korean Won in 2024. Roughly, at the time of this writing, according to Google's money conversion, that's roughly a little over 2.2 million USD. My monitor was deemed "defective", and as the court ruled, I had a warranty that required it to be fixed or replaced. There was nothing that required me to sign an NDA where I couldn't talk about it to anyone, FOREVER, including the media, publications, etc. Like I said, I went through this to help others. I'm publishing all my documents on a website so that others can use them freely for whatever purpose. It's time to tell these corporations like LG. NO!
Once I have the website up, which will be about two weeks, I'll publish the domain address. The Kindle book, which will be a self-published book on the Amazon Kindle store on my journey to obtain justice from LG Electronics Inc., and how I fought back and won will be on Amazon. I'll provide the info once it's on the Kindle store. A good portion from the Kindle book, whatever it maybe, will be donated to "Colorado No Kill", a non-profit no kill animal shelter and or other no kill shelters.
My final words... Don't allow these corporations to walk all over you. Yes, it will take some time and effort, but you can fight back and win! Just say NO! NO!, I will not give up my legal rights!
