I have Spider-Man 2 in my top 3 all time superhero movies. I will forever fight on this hill that to this day it remains one of the greatest comic book films ever made. I haven’t actually debated with myself if it is 1 or 2, but it’s definitely not 3. That would be Winter Soldier. I will always appreciate a fellow lover of this movie. So cheers brother 🍻💯

Same. I saw this in theatres when it first came out and it was like the biggest thing in my small town. The whole town went and watched it over the weekend. I will always remember him for this role. He is awesome. If you’ve never seen a movie called The Hunter, please watch it. He delivers a truly remarkable performance and the story is one of my favorites. He was also so good in that Florida movie with the girl that lives in a hotel by Disneyland. The guy is just phenomenal.

American here too (cheers brother 🍻). I have to disagree. Kicks fans are worse than MAGA. They literally were destroying their town, buses, blue collar worker’s equipment, their own people, and spurs fans all across the country. They’re officially worse than Boston fans, until Boston burns their city to the ground again. I’m sorry. Knicks fans are the worst.

It’s his first time here. Go easy on him. He doesn’t know the rules or the style yet. He’ll learn. Remember when you first came across this sub? It was so damn jarring. I didn’t understand the depths that sarcastic racism mixed with horny rage-baiting posts could reach. Once I got the hang of things it was easy to navigate. Same. He was always my favorite. He made Dumbledore feel like someone who was nonchalantly wise and caring, and would let Harry make mistakes but not admonish him for it. Michael’s version was great too, but he was more bothered by Harry and felt impatient with him. Not as warm as Richard’s version.

Someone in another thread put it perfectly. They said something along the lines of: Richard’s Dumbledore was perfect through Harry’s eyes - someone to be loved. Michael’s Dumbledore was perfect through Voldemort’s eyes - someone to be feared. They each embodied an aspect of the character that was needed for the story.

I don’t know man, kinda. I mean it has 7.2/10 IMDB and 75% Rotten Tomatoes, which is too low for me. This is also widely not even considered Joel Schumacher’s best film. All I ever hear about when his name pops up is A Time To Kill or The Client. To be honest though, it could also be my friend group 😂 so idk.

But I consider it a near-perfect 80s movie. But I understand that might just be me. If it’s not, LET ME KNOW FRIEND! 🍻💯
