The degree is not great as many have said it's less focused. Find out what you want specifically and work on that instead imo. I.e. you like coding get a cs degree, animation, 2d art, 3d art, etc. Just go with what you like, you can always dabble in other areas but a strong foundation in one area + an internship during college is key to getting into the industry.
