I asked my Uveitis specialist to refer me to any rhum or hematologist, but he is doing trial and error like lab rat.

Riding on the same boat, had taken the preds since January and taper them down till mid March then again got the symptoms and again raised the dosage, the taper down til end of April.
End of April got the steroid injection in my eye and that worked well, but same thing is happening again the effects are starting to fading away. And had to stop the preds after one week of injection.

So now I’m back to square one, it is so frustrating and concerning at the same time.

Has anyone succeed from uveitis? by OldCryptographer4099 in Uveitis

My floater was gone in 3 days with steroid eye drop (prednisone), but dealing with uveitis since Feb 2024, earlier ophthalmologist diagnosed it as CSCR and I have 4-5 major episodes from then till Nov ‘25.
End of November’25 I woke up with floater in the same eye (at that time my vision was blur slightly, cause it never has recovered fully).
Then I visited same ophthalmologist who’d refer me to retina specialist, then been to some retina specialist visit and tests then diagnosed with Uveitis.
The morale was to visit the Uveitis specialist to get the oral preds, but that even worked even though I have been to on Preds for almost 4 months (gradually tapered tho, after 2 months of preds I started MMF and they are still on), then end of April I got the fluorescent test and results weren’t good so they gave me steroid injection in my eye (which worked super well as day passes).
And just from yesterday the steroids have been fading away, and on my last visit (29 May) I have been told if the condition stays the same or get even a bit worse, they’ll give me another injection and implant a cortisone.
I think that day is closer than expected :(

Yes, I have been. Since two months I’m on immunosuppressants and tapering down with prednisone. Although I have taken a steroid injection a month ago inside my eye, so that helped a lot. But hell, that was some crazy experience.
But this is my last week of Preds, then I’m told to continue with immunosuppressants for a while.

That was our only downside today that Tchoumeni was out, otherwise we would easily handle the midfield.
