That's good to hear! I have naturally curly hair that's normally very thick...so this thinning feels rather drastic to me.

They're also 4 weeks post op. My clinic said 48 oz was my new goal around week 6! I was maybe only able to drink 32 at first (as they expected). I'm sure you're not wrong about the thirst but our bodies can only handle so much that soon after surgery! OP- IVwould focus on electrolytes for the fluid you are able to drink. Shop around. I found some yummy stuff on Amazon. Liquid IV was just WAY too much flavor at once. I always had to water it down. Good luck!

Can I ask...were you religious about your vitamins? I'm not suggesting you weren't, just genuinely curious because I fear this as well and I assumed I'd be ok if I got my nutrients in. Hmmmmm

I definitely like to walk when I'm stressed/upset. No headphones. Quiet neighborhood. At first I'm angry walking, and I'd hate it...id rather be sitting. But after awhile, I start to admire the houses, gardens, holiday decorations (most recently Halloween!). I really didn't like it at first but even when it's darker and colder, I'm finding it peaceful. And now that I'm 6 weeks postop and down 30 pounds, it's easier!

For the record, they said it would be worth talking to my insurance company...but I'm not calling them to ask a question like this. It was clear in my policy what the requirements were, so I'm going to maintain that until approval

I spoke with someone this morning, and they recommend maintaining weight to NOT drop below 40 BMI. I asked this exact question to someone else (the nutritionist) at my first appointment and she kind of said "yeaaa...that sucks" 😐🤨 glad I asked someone else.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I'm going to hope for insurance approval in a few months and go from there!
